hawkeyfan 36 Report post Posted July 7, 2014 I carry a back up on the bench...BUT...I play Shafts and Blades and with that I use different curves and shafts for different reasons. This year is bad on my team...No Offense ( I play D)...I noticed one team players with alot of wood stiks and someon had their stick broken in the game...this same team have guys being overyly physical (for C level hockey). I have ID'd the guy that took me down last year while going for an iced puck...as he seems to loose his feet alot.I fell you always need a back-up and since this year is so bad...I have resorted to my more industrial set-ups of wood blades and reused One Peice stick shafts as I do not want some clown taking out my good stuff. Your bottle will NEVER be touched again.I put tape on my water bottle and wrote "Howe #9" on the tape. I figure nobody would have the balls to steal Gordie Howe's water bottle.Since I've started playing again I only had one stick. Until today when I picked up an EK15. I take my now spare stick to the bench with me. Never had a problem with a stick being taken. I do bring my wallet because we need to show ID to play our league games. But phone stays in the car.
