Bauer Nexus 800 vs. CCM 4-Roll Pro III

Recommended Posts

I'm going to need new gloves soon, so I'm looking for a traditional 4-roll. My local shop has the Bauers, and they're quite nice, feel a lot like my old Bauer 5000 4-roll. The CCM's are about the same price, but I can't try them. Which one is the better glove in your opinion? The Combat MF52 is also still available in a few places, how does it compare?

They're both very nice. I myself like the CCM's

If you can find some MF52 gloves in your size, they are a steal. Very nice mitts as well

Can't really go wrong with any of those gloves though !

I'd go with the Bauers personally. If you can't try on the CCMs make sure you get a size up, they fit real small.

I would say go for the Combat. I have a pair and I like them more than any other 4 roll I have tried on. They all feel different but I always just kept going back to the Combats.

That said I wish the cuff was taller as I have take some slashes on bare wrist that is covered by the Reebok 852 I have.

Thanks for posting; I was not even aware there was a 4-Roll Pro III out, I assumed it was a typo in the subject line until I googled it. They look awesome, definitely going to have to check them out for the upcoming season!
