Reebok 17K

Any opinions of this skate? I was looking higher end but with the same quarter package as the 20k and I can get it for a great price I thought it's no brainer. The fit is really great and I'm a beer league 6'0" 250lber skating 2-3 times a week. Any advice or opinions are welcome.

Not a regular retail model, likely a SMU for the chain stores. Probably similar to the 18K that was discontinued when the Ribcore line was released. Good for your 2-3 times a week skating.

The skate has the same issues as the 20K -- boot gets mushy quickly.

Really? I hope it lasts, only had one skate on it and it is super comfortable. Really for the price I paid I could handle buying a new pair every season. My first Reebok and I'm very happy with it.
