CCM 580 Cage(L) on Bauer RE-AKT (M)?

My son wants to put a CCM 580 cage on his Bauer RE-AKT. His RE-AKT is size medium. Due to the different sizing of the RE-AKT, assumed L carge with the M helmet.

Thought I'd quickly throw this out, see if anyone knew for sure, before I ordered.

More concerned if it will fit the helmet, know the CCM 580 in a large will fit him.

Well, it's done. Ordered a Resistance 300 in large(didn't even know this cage existed). We'll see how it shakes out.

That should be fine. Large cages typically fit medium helmets & vice-versa, pretty sure the new Resistance cages will follow suit.

Yeah, should be OK compatibility-wise. However, just ensure that both the cage and the helmet fit your son's head and face/chin shape properly.
