TotalONE MX3 Stick

Recommended Posts

Played my first game with the mx3 yesterday.

I think this is the next one95. Wow.

Snaps, one timers and clappers are scary hard. I shoot hard anyway but this stick makes my shots down right

Retarded.

Great feel for me, I think it's slightly lighter then my nxg just on feel in my hands and

Great balance.

Great stick. Bauer hit this one outa the park

Also hearing the CCM Tacks is the next coming of the one95. Need someone to send me some sticks to demo.

how's the shaft ? always found it pretty boxy and bigger (in short easton-ish) on the NXG compared the TO.

Found it pretty weird too, on the picture it looks like the KP is between your hands  unless it's pure marketing

I think the description Bauer gives on this one is pretty honest. The blade is definitely more dampened feeling (than the NXG). I think they went a bit too far in this respect and it's too damp, I like where the NXG was at, but that's all personal preference. Also, the shaft is definitely made to get a big load on it. It's great for one-timers and slapshots, you can really bear down and get some power on them, wrist shots too if you have the time. But that's the problem, for me, is that I don't feel like the shaft is responsive enough for me. It takes to long to load up and get that release. I prefer the Nexus 8000 shaft, good compromise of load and response/release. Of course it's all in how you like to shoot, but again, I think they built what they set out to build, it's just whether it fits your style.

I completely agree. MX3 feels too slow for my liking as well

I haven't noticed any "slowness" in release. I went back to the mx3 after trying a few other sticks trying to bust a slump

It's been my fav stick now and feels a bit more powerful on shots then the nxg.

I have the nexus 8000 stick and in my opinion it feels about the same as the nxg stick overall. I also have the MX3 stick... I like the blade feel but shooting seemed to kick slow for me and I feel like if I was to give this stick a shot again, I would get a 77 flex instead of a 87 flex. I've also heard that the tack stick is another stick thats similar to the nxg stick.

I've had a few of them. I've always liked how light the TotalOnes were but I think the NXG was a better stick for me. The MX3 is good for hard shots but I noticed the load and release difference between that and other sticks I have used
