wow kings tickets are crazy now

170 dollars for the cheapest tickets against the sharks. I'm assuming since it's the sharks prices are a bit higher though but still. Like 2 years ago I got tickets for 17 bucks each against the flames haha.

It's the home opener where they're raising the cup banner, and giving away banner replicas. So $170 isn't all that surprising. Look at the next game, can be had for like $25.

That game was priced for the special event, banner raising.

Yes Kings tickets have gone up substantially the past five seasons but they have had success hence supply vs demand. Compare prices to traditional hockey cities and they are still a bargain.

I do not work for the Kings, however I've been a season seat holder since the new building opened.

I got mine for opening night for $125 for the upper bowl, not too shabby considering the circumstances.

I was there for both banner raisings!

I considered going but decided not to. Kind of glad I didn't, based on the final score... heh.

The score didn't really matter that night. The Stanley Cup and Banner presentation were worth it. After the game I turned around to my section mates and laughed how in past seasons how pissed off we would have been but hey we just won another Cup! Everyone smiled in agreement.
