Lot of memories from that arena from the mid/late 90's. Still have my Compuware orange and brown Hespeler Classic RTX's gloves from those teams. Am interested in what the final cost on the building would be. The real estate the building is on is very desirable and the surrounding area is doing well.

yeah, I don't think this will raise our dues, you already have tenants, and can make money from holding tournaments/concerts/etc. its not like they are buying it, kicking everyone out, and having USA hockey 24/7 in there.

With the Whalers likely leaving SE Michigan (latest rumor was Chatham ON) USA hockey will essentially be taking their spot as the primary group in the building. I know they have struggled to utilize the arena for non ice related events outside of an indoor soccer team that folded and events during graduation season.
