Okay, guess no connection... The lime green on the later Adidas made me think Graf...

I just happened across www.adidas-archive.org today. There's a ton of old stuff on there, as the name would suggest. It's a bit of an experimental site though, not toward the most intuitive end of the spectrum. If you look into the catalogues they have, there are Adidas hockey skates dating back to the 40's. Most of the descriptions are in German though.
