Cut Counters

Hello, does anyone know what 'Cut Counters' means on the spec sheet when buying custom skates?

Any help much appreciated!

I believe cutting counters moves the top three or so eyelets back towards the skate's heel. This reduces the wrap of the boot in the upper ankle area.

Thank you! Is this only on certain skate models or can this be done on the new 1X skates?

Can be done on 1X skates but I believe you will have normal eyelets and not the injected facing.
