  1. I don't think Nu-Finish is a good choice because it's very abrasive actually. However, I don't see why a modern non-carnauba based automotive sealant that's designed to sheet water wouldn't do the same thing. Some modern sealants have amazing durability and ability to sheet water. I still own distribution rights for a large chemical manufacturer. If a sharpening shop wanted to test out a product I think would work, I'd be more then glad to send some out for free and see if they like it. It's an aircraft grade product with strong adhesion properties to stainless steel. Lot more cost effective than this too.
  2. We had looked into it awhile ago, but it was like another 20 some odd dollars a month plus fee's per check and my boss refuses to pay anymore fee's for payment processing unless he has too.
  3. Prejudice things aside, We don't take personal checks from anyone at our business. Been burned too many times with Personal Checks. Business checks only.
  4. If I'm reading the chart correctly... No should be less.
  5. 100/75 was to much bite. I am going to go to 100/50, think that will be better. Love the glide of the FB though.
  6. Based on the thread I decided to give the Flat Bottom V a shot, I typically skate on a 1/2" and I'm going to give the 100/75 a go. I'm very curious to see how it feels.
  7. I am so in for this. The SR. flex options are a thing of beauty for those of us who have to cut down our sticks a lot.Been waiting such a long time for this. Kudos to Warrior!!
  8. It's funny we are at opposite ends, I'm looking for a softer flex or different lengths. If warrior does, they have a customer for sure!
  9. Any inside details what all the flex options will be/stick lengths?
  10. Priceless. I laughed pretty hard when I read that.
  11. Nope, he did send someone in with his skates to get them sharpened though LOL.
  12. One of my final day's at the Pro Shop before it closed, had a guy come in before his game @ 10:30 at night saying he forgot his elbow pads. Asked me if he could borrow a pair, I actually offered to let him use mine they weren't big enough for him. So I told him to go down and talk to someone at the rink. They usually carried some spare equipment. Comes back w/ No luck. Asks me if he can buy a pair, wear them and return them. I tell him No, I can't resell it as new. He storms off all mad with a 25 dollar pair of closeout elbow pads. He comes in the next day and demands a refund and throws a huge scene in the middle of the store. Have to admit it was pretty amazing to watch a 35 year old man have a major temper tantrum over 25.00 elbow pads. He ended up getting his refund and told not to comeback.
  13. There is so many options it's really crazy. I mean Bauer can pretty much do anything, the key is having the right skate fitter. Some quick examples, if a boot is too shallow for you, they can add volume. If it's too deep, they can make it shallow.. If you have orthotics they can build the skate to the orthotic. Those are just a couple examples of major fitment changes.
