  1. Can anyone explain to me who and how this Clark guy is the captain.
  2. I would like to see the caps with a big Pronger type D to lead the wayfpr Green. Kind of like a Scott Stevens for Scott Niedermeyer.
  3. Let's see how long he can stay out of trouble.

  5. Awsome pic, your face in it is priceless
  6. HAHAHAHA The rink staff all know that kid. We call him Ovie. Kid is a nice guy, but just brutal. His latest thing was his self modified helmet. He took his cage and cut out the grid that would be around his eyes, and put his stupid mirrored visor inside of his cage. It is ridiculously bad looking haha. that pic is just classic Ovie. I wish I had a picture of his hideous cage/visor combo he made. Hopefully he'll be back next season, I love hearing him yell at everyone up and down the ice... We all have that guy or more in our beer league. We had a guy yelling at I-leaguers wearing shoulder pads and cages to dive in front of pucks to block shots...REALLY??? There was a guy playing open hockey yesterday at chelsea piers who went down practically in the crease, to block a wrist shot from the point. I almost pissed in my pants. Something about "get the gf all trained up" just sounds wrong or maybe I just watch too much orn
  7. If you play under USA Hockey rules, your elbow pads must be under your jersey. No pads can be exposed. Yeah I play in a beer league now. When I used to play under USA hockey rules 10+ years ago, no one ever said anything to me about my elbow pads exposed. Maybe things have changed? I got busted once last year, never before or since. What was the penalty or outcome? I'm assuming the refs are the ones who busted you?

  9. Found them quicker than I expected. So I recently started playing again after about 5 years off. My legs always steam after i get off the ice and I was in the market for new shin guards with some type of breathing ability. Little did I know RBK acquired Jofa. So I was browsing online and saw some RBK shin guards and though "those look just like mine." So I took a Razor Blade, drill with Unibit, and a Dremel. Saved myself 40-50 bucks. I know they are weaker, but I don't really block shots anymore.
  10. Hey guys, noob here Big DIY guy in general. Usually I sew all the sleeves on my jerseys so they end at my elbow, instead of having to roll them up. Recently sewed in some new mesh gussets on my old x50's, but ther mesh doesn't seem to be holding up very well. I'll see if i can get some pics. Lastly i modified my shin guards so i could get some airflow. Will search for pics, look forward to posting here now that I'm back in the game.
