  1. *** update *** look like my dear pro15 is going to end its life cycle quite soon, maybe i ll just end this season like a last "hurrah". there re 2 big cuts on the bottom, cuts done on torsions over the years of use... the stitchs in the angles was totally torn out. and the backpack straps are slowly tear off too from the bag, doing some external cuts. and yeha, so now i am starting to search an alternative... but for what i found there s nothing that fit my taste. pacific rink bag price is way too much for me. icon grit look nice BUT it is not a backpack. Bauer Vapor 1X Locker Wheel Bag (or SHERWOOD CODE V ROLLEN-RUCKSACK) looks nice but the price and wheels are not too much for me... does anyone know something else? 😕
  2. i did a quick search and look like i founded it: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/prhockeybags/the-player-bag-and-pond-pack-by-pacific-rink/description (site: pacificrink.com ) really interesting! a bag with compartments for skates, clothes and other plus pockets... and the ability to become backpack. they did a great job... my house it's starting to be full of hockey bags, so before get another one i would get some opinions from an owner... but... well, as u said, for a reason or another, look like i'm going for it :|
  3. 1 shoulder strap it's nomore for my taste. i mean, from the rink to the car maybe i can handle but from car to home... that's a different business as i have to travel a lot... btw look even smaller than mine HTSE and wider on the bottom (so go trough the door will be even worst than now).
  4. nice bags but none of them can be carried like a true backpack, as the pro15... those bags can be carried only on one shoulder not as a true backpack . that's why im so interested for that bauer... look like a traditional bag, no wheels, some compartments in it and can be used as backpack (as backpack look veeeery slim)
  5. i own a lot of bag, none of them like me at 100%, for a lot of reason: * warrior covert: cool as backpack but too small to carry all the stuff. look like playing tetris when i have to put in there all my equipment, damn. plus it's very large. stuck in the doors it's a tradition. * bauer core: classical bag. size it's perfect, damn huge. but it destroy my shoulder while carrying it. plus i destry every door i try to pass over. * grit HTSE: i love the compartments and how it's stay vertically and in some small room it help dress/undress. but i hate to noisy wheels. and i discovered to hate to carry a wheel bag. so... back to this bauer pro15........ EDIT: well, i bought 1 year ago. from that moment, i never stopped using it. here is it my opinion: * size: im 190cm (or 6,0") and to give a better idea about my stuff, i use L pants, 17" shingguards, 9,5" skate. and yeha, i can put everything inside this bag... with some trick, i can fill up with EVERYTHING (and im the kind of guy who put in the bag too many thing, like double water bottle, food, belt bag, plus another bag for used clothes, towel and bathrobe, and other stuff without end...). just i would like some more space for the next version of this beauty. maybe 10cm (4inch) more, over the lenght. imho could be a good idea. ps: i've bought the biggest of the Pro15 (there s a Medium size and a Large size). * weight: it quite like any other bag. it's a nothing. * compartments: 1 for the skate (ive got a 9.5, they fit in without problem with slippers too)(i use skate guard to avoid cut on the bag). the other one it's for the helmet (ive got a helmet+shiled visor bauer concept), on the top with a nice soft mesh. good idea for my visor. the main compartment inside got also a valuable pocket (a bit small to be honest. inside can stay a phone, keys and not much more)(got soft mesh this one too) and a net, to put inside a jersey or fresh clothes. it's not possible to put in too much stuff... but it does its work. * bag & backpack: only one thing to say... it's AWESOME. that's it. it fit ok while carring it. i can go trough the smallest door without get stuck (or even worst, destroy the door) and walk without destroy my shoulder. my spine can carry it for a lot... i mean, i can park my car where i am forced to and walk without be scared for the pain to drag the bag on. and if its raining. i can use the umbrella in a confortable way, without wash me and the bag itself. and snow it's not a problem anymore. i can walk nimbly. when i use my grit tower i always have to see what my wheels have to dodge... * price: a bit high imho. it's just a "bag"... BUT i have to say there s quality, like the soft mesh inside the helmet-bag, or the double slider (with lace too) for every zippers. * score: 8/10. imho bauer could build it a bit bigger on the top, but that's ok by this way too. * conclusion: if u cant carry a bag with weels or on a shoulder... if a backpack it's always small and too much large... imho this s The Bag.
