Reusing the blade of a broken stick?

So I broke my CCM U+CS stick yesterday during a game, thankfully had my backup! Looking at the break, its too high to save the shaft, but I was wondering if there was a way to take the blade and reuse it with a new shaft? If it is at all possible, what would you suggest the best method to be?
