EE vapor question

comparing the D vapor vs. the EE vapor, I understand the wider boot, longer "feel" (due to larger heel pocket)  and all that crap..

My question is:  Is the TOECAP on a EE vapor going to be a bit wider than it's D version in the same size boot?  I would figure as much, but wanted some clarification.
