I’m not gonna give em that much credit. Pure Hockey has been selling limited sizes for $399 for a long time now. I just find that rarely do in-rink pro shops (in non-traditional hockey markets) follow industry pricing trends. You usually have to blow a thick layer of dust off their gear to even see what it is ... and it’s almost always way disco’d and full retail. Unless it is a chain with multiple locations and maybe a web presence, they usually (but not always) have old gear and old prices (especially skates).

The Warrior QRE girdle is the best I have ever used. I have been VERY impressed with it.

Tacks is more adjustable and more protective. Warrior is lighter and maybe a tad more comfort. The Tacks sizing runs on the small side, if you fit a Mens Medium in a pant like the Nexus, you likely want a Large in the Tacks girdle. Not mentioned in the thread, but the best option in my own opinion is the Tacks 7092 Girdle or the Purehockey Tacks SMU Girdle which is basically the 7092 without the CCM shell included. Opinion is based on owning/using all 3 of the above mentioned girdles. colins

I think I saw about 10 minutes (actual time, not clock time) of this game...and saw 5 goals scored.

The last pair of Trues I had made I requested a lot of little specifics. I wanted them to be as close to a Mako as possible and they were able to deliver the near exact experience including the aggressive pitch forward and deeper heel. Going with "off the shelf" I would say the Grafs were the closest in boot feeling, supportive but still flexible.

Glad to hear. Do note that if you want to try new stuff, you’re welcome to the program. As it stands right now, we’ve ordered additional templates to get it up and running.

Gretzky didn't have the coach saying "you're not Gretzky … get you shirt out of your pants".

Update - I was able to get the steel profiled to a quad zero +1 and it has solved the problems - Removing the heel lifts I had under the insoles and changing profiles has stopped the catching and chattering while stopping or turning - (less steel on the ice with less pitch.) I hope when you guys put your database together has some good information to save people like me costly experimenting to find what my muscle memory and stride have been trained with old gear. Nobody tells you ProSharp quads are already pitched forward in every article I have read - thanks for that info - I feel much more comfortable on my blades now. I know shorter radius equals less speed but for me I can certainly take quicker steps to get up to speed. Might have to start a survey to help with your investigations on player style, size, position, cut, length of blades, brand etc....Good luck and thanks again JR and Nicholas

Also noticed last night that Ryan Spooner's Verbero gloves are now unbranded (well, minus the V on the thumb), I'm guessing Verbero didn't pay to have their stuff in the league this year?

Superfeet do not actually have arch support. They are a heel support to lock your heel in place. Yes they do raise your heel up, but they do not supply actual full arch support. If you have high arches, these would be the last ones that you should try. The CCM's have a high arch version and the Sidas, but they are hard to find. I just posted in another thread about the Fastech custom insoles. I've been using them for almost 2 years now and love them. They're custom made for your foot.

Howdy, How much are you getting paid to be there? 🙂 If going to the rink is a chore, tell the team and have them / you find you a sub for the season. Full stop. Gutting out a game when you're sick or something is one thing, but we do this for fun. If you're consistently not having fun... Stop it. Mark
