Forgot to take a picture of my awesome cake day presents. Decided to go back to the Covert line of sticks from the Alpha, and from the Covert QRL gloves to the Alpha Pro gloves. Haven't used the stick yet but the used the gloves last week in a game and they were amazing, felt broken in right away, and had so much more mobility than my QRL's, which now feel very restrictive. Wish I made the switch sooner. Also, another little treat, which I will not be wearing on the ice, a USA 1960 Nike replica throwback jersey. All in all, makes turning 32 pretty good.

    That's the newer generation machine.

Do you wear them under or over the tongue? Watch this for sizing: Work out the sizing for yourself, don't take the word of someone else at blind faith. Personally I go oversize and modify the bottom (cutting and restitching) so I get more protection beside the tendon guard. Frankly I couldn't give a rats arse how they look, as long as they fit correctly, comfortably and give me the required degree of protection I am after. Buy the shin that fits you the best, not just because it makes your legs look fat, ffs.

Yes, I think the Mako II was a big improvement over the OG Mako.

It's right between the original Mako silver heel and the APX2 silver heel. Materially, it looks closer to the APX2, where this looks like a foxing rather than an exposed shell like the Mako had. Still looks a lot like the recent vapors overall. I see the slimmer toe cap too.

It’s funny because the silver heel is one of the biggest complaints about the Mako.🤔

That's the AK27 based on the QX5. The AK27 SL is based on the QX Pro.

Nice. Personally, I still wouldn't have. I'm just wired differently I guess.

As someone who worked in hockey retail, I would always refrain from entering these contests as I felt that working in the industry should mean that I would be ineligible. It wasn't as if you were the only one who this applies to in this thread, as there were others. I personally don't think it's a good look.

No. CAGs don't profile the entire set of steel.
