The person who posted that wasn't the one who took the pic.

The Makos have a pretty aggressive forward lean. He could be a little too far over his toes and not getting enough mid blade pressure to get the bite needed to hold the turn.

I like to compare it to a custom suit. You still have to have fittings after the suit is made for adjustments, whether it's bc your personal preference is to have a tighter or looser during garment etc.

The additional backhand padding came off my Maine AX1 really cleanly:

ASU's new helmet design. I am not usually into flashy equipment but I think for ASU it works and I think they have one of the best setups in college hockey. Minnesota is now a CCM school

Could be a number of things, ACL, LCL, meniscus. So, I've had ACL reconstruction. During the injury, I felt a sharp pop and limited mobility. After the injury, maybe an hour later, the knee started swelling up, like a grapefruit size and I could hardly bend it. After the swelling went down, the pain went away, but every once in a while, when I turned, I could feel a sharp pain inside the knee. So, my doctor told me to come back in a week after the swelling goes down, because the swelling could also be affecting the pain and would not provide an accurate X-ray. So, I waited. The swelling did go away. The pain was still there so I went in. I got an x-ray and physical examination. Then, he said I would need an MRI to get a better view of the insides. So, you do need to take some time for the swelling to go away to see if the pain persists afterwards. You said you got injured in a game one night ago. Once the swelling goes away, your pain symptoms may change or go away or stay the same. Ice it. Take it easy. After a week, the swelling should go away and pain level should decrease, you can probably resume your usual activities. See how your knee feels. If pain persists, see your doctor again. Note when pain occurs, going up steps, going down steps, running, standing, kneeling, turning, jumping, kicking, bending, certain angles, leg fully extended, etc. and tell that to the doctor.

Those new skates do look pretty sick. Love the stealthy blacked out look.

Someone on S2K snagged a locker room close up of the skates, I don't want to steal his photo so here's a link to the post: http://www.sports2k.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5078-2019-2020-pro-stock-sightings/?p=364894

Check blade alignment first. Makos probably older boot so could have taken a shot and the blade/holder has a slight bend. If it is an older boot it could be some breakdown. If it's more one way that's where to start before changing other things.

Get the Nash black steel rubber honing stone. Best of both worlds.

I have pro return CCM (Crawford) that are an XL and fit me well. Just loose enough to be comfortable. I was wearing them when I had a 38-40 jean size (and still wearing them now that I'm a 34). If you're wearing 44 jeans then you're definitely going to want to go XXL. Retail is unlikely to be much of an option for you for the most part unless you get lucky. I'd probably look for some pro stock/return stuff on sidelineswap, ebay, prostockhockey.com etc. The other option would be to go to somebody like Brown or Simmons who can get you set up with something custom. Honestly I'd probably just end up going that route if I were in your situation just to avoid the hassle of trying to find something that fits right since pro stock stuff can be a crapshoot (and not returnable if it doesn't fit right or doesnt feel right even if it fits).

seems to show a general outline of the taper shape here.
