1 pointI've tried it and didn't like it. The thing that was cool though was the glide that I felt from not having anything along the bottom. But it just didn't sit well with me. Out of like 80~100 guys in our league, only one guy uses it and swears by them. He's also easily top 5 in terms of skill/level played, so YMMV (he can do the Michigan with it).

1 pointI think it's just a matter of getting used to the new boots if you swapped the steel and still have the same issue. Skates now adays a quite a bit stiffer than even 3-4 years ago, and the tongue on the 2s is def a totally diff feel. That and/or the diff insoles. Try putting your old insoles in the new skates?

1 pointHave you considered using a reshipper like myus? For example it's around $15 for 2kgs to Europe and with a US drop box you can now shop at US local prices.

1 pointThanks, the German shop is much cheaper than t’other. Sadly they don’t have 1/2” rings which is what I use.
