I've been in the Mazda3 game since '06, how involved were you looking to get with your car? Here's my current Mazda, it looks stock but I regularly surprise some pretty quick cars, its more go than show.

Got so focused on school this semester, that I've gone and screwed myself and didn't get a good internship in time. Now I'm hoping to get lucky and find something in the Boston area, or I'll be back home flipping burgers at the Ruby Tuesday in no time.

I've become a huge fan of them the last 3 or 4 years, and bought this one on a whim. It's in amazing shape, but I'm sadly going to have to get rid of it soon it's looking like.

Cops got a call from somewhere in my building, they're looking for an injured person. Having your apartment searched at 2:30 am, not fun. This guy is not falling back to sleep tonight, tomorrow's final be dammed.

Packing up for school, and like always- it certainly is bittersweet. I'm going to miss my family and friends (and that car under the cover that I can't drive for the next 6-odd months until spring). But on the other hand, going back into the city is awesome. Get to do lots of real cool things and be with some equally amazing people, so I guess I'm ready to go...

Well, getting into Time Attack and HPDE this spring and decided to upgrade. I picked up a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 in Sunlight Silver, so pumped to pick it up. I may even be able to get it on NHMS next weekend with the club, which would be sweet. I keep telling myself I'm going to stay in showroom stock for my first season in TA, but the potential these things have in the aftermarket makes it so tempting not to be.

I paid for an alignment. That is what pisses me off. The rear brakes (which I replaced last weekend) now creak as I drive. It's looking like the ebrake is coming off of the hub. I'm thinking somebody went for a hoon in my car as well.

Tire place thinks they can beat the piss out of my car, and not align or balance it after mounting new tires. Ha, wait until they pay for all that to be done somewhere else...

Rough day at work, but I said screw it, and went and finally ordered my wheels and tires for the BMW. When I came home from the shop, there was 3 boxes of car goodies waiting for me. Getting the good bounces once in a while, that's what I call it.

I love the get up kids, a band who I consider one of the pioneers of the genre. Anyways, in a totally different vein. Mumford and Sons album Sigh No More has been my jam for the last month or so.

That's BA. I respect and envy the car scene you guys have out west, it seems like a great place to be a gearhead.

They're stupidly easy to work on, especially if you find one in good shape. The aftermarket is plentiful and cheap, if that is the route you want to go. My buddies always say its the little car you can't not be happy while driving (and these are all those redneck, "there's no replacement for displacement" kids).

The joy of driving, I think that's how the BMW commercials go. I just finished putting a Tokico suspension in my e30 this morning, thing goes like a dream.

People like to give the s52 slack, but for an application like the M roadster, I like it a ton.

Just to let you know, an 04-05 Mz3 is not going to look exactly as pictured above, and it doesn't come with those wheels. They are the 'snowflake' wheels that came on the '07+ models (pictured above) which were a facelift from the 2003-'06.5. If you've got any questions on the Mazdas feel free to ask, I've been in the Mazda3 community for almost 4 years now, even though I've strayed a bit with my current project (e30 ftw!).

It could be a thermostat, but the fact it is when you're stopped leads me to believe its not a coolant leak or something of that nature.
