  1. Watching Ovi almost cry at getting to lift the Cup made me melt a little. Unbelievable season for both teams, I wonder if any of the Caps are gonna leave in Free Agency...
  2. Grubauer is a name getting tossed around as well.
  3. They also need consistency from their offense, and having more guys who can score on a good pace is going to help when the usually high scoring forwards go dark.
  4. https://twitter.com/StapeAthletic/status/1004060811415863296 Guess the billboards worked... Forgetting for a moment that Snow's buyout is massive. Lamiorello assumes GM duties and will find a coach. This has me worried about Tavares. He got along well with Weight, but I know he values structure in the organization. We'll see on July first. EDIT: Another tweet came out saying that both will remain with the organization. https://twitter.com/StapeAthletic/status/1004063564053741568
  5. My local shop does this, it's definitely something you should consider.
  6. Forget what I said in the Venting Spot, my other boat came in third against much better competition (we had to race 4 novices in our third varsity 8 against the largest crew in the country,) and our boathouse won the overall trophy! We're sending a lot of boats to Nationals and things are looking better for next season.
  7. Spent all year training for Northeast Regionals for crew, and our first race missed qualifying for finals by a few seconds. The second race is probably gonna get thundered out... Feels like a season wasted sometimes.
  8. How tall are you? I'm 16 and also wear a 30 length and 5'8 but my dad is 5'4 and wears the same length, same width too I think.
  9. The stitching from the NHL store isn't going to be the same as authentic. There are other places that will supply legitimate stitching, just not the NHL Store. https://www.reddit.com/r/hockeyjerseys/wiki/trustedsellers#wiki_retail_stores.3A
  10. My point wasn't related to the series at hand, as such I got rid of my comment. Carry on.
  11. You can find T100s for like $90 if you are okay with a mid kick.
  12. I still don't know what the P72 really is... that curve might be older than me. Google comes up with nothing of substance. Help me out here?
  13. Good pictures, and I love the Islanders gloves with the Brooklyn alternate socks.
  14. I thought that was field hockey gear for a second.
  15. Looks nice, I wonder what's different this time around though.
  16. Being sick and missing school when there's a bunch of important assignments due soon, after missing part of last week as well. The workload is starting to get overwhelming.
  17. Decided to dust off the old NXG (which I took every available opportunity to dump on when I used it because of the PM9 curve), on a whim. I love it. Shots were flying off the blade, no matter if I shot off from heel to toe, or did the 'pull in, push out' kind of shot I'd expect to have to use with my P46. Snapshots off the heel were good too. Too bad the NXG is a junior, the shaft dimensions and height were too small for me. Might need to look for it in an intermediate closeout...
  18. Only 2 games for Miles Wood. I felt like there'd be more.
  19. Article, with video, if anyone haven't seen it yet: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2018/02/06/angry-alex-burrows-knees-taylor-hall-twice-helmet/313858002/ Absolutely, he's had a long list of Player Safety issues, and this was reckless. I could see / hope for 10 games, but knowing the DPS it's unlikely.
  20. This is a very good point. Manufacturers have their reasons to keep product details under wraps, and reputable / knowledgable members of the hockey community have the same. If you haven't seen details on a new product or spy shots of it in action, it's likely for good reason. If nothing else, at least send JR a PM asking if a product is okay to discuss. The relationships between MSH and manufacturers are part of what makes the site and WF / SJ so great, let's not ruin them over the name of the next new thing. That said, I'm very glad that @Miseaujeu is going to give us an opportunity to discuss the new product and I'm excited to see what new things Warrior has implemented.
  21. My area has a couple, like the Junior Rangers (http://cjrhockey.com), but I don't know how far Stamford is from you. I do agree with @chippa13 though. The scheduling and logistics are a complete pain from my understanding, and they're obscenely expensive for a squirt. Spend the money on other things, mainly focusing on your kids individual skills and especially skating. I think that'd pay off better in the long run.
