the most amazing thing about the pic is not eh RBK's...it's the fact that Kovy is in the defensive zone. ...I'm just sayin' I can't believe you guys laugh at him when this guy is one of the most talented player in the game. But guys who can't do a croossover correctly like Souray, Latendresse or Ryder are glorify. Hey don't get me wrong...I love Kovy in the offensive end....freakin' MAGICIAN with the puck....saw a game in Buffalo last year....2G 1A...he single handedly won the game... but seriously...how often do you see a picture of him playing defence...

My New Gloves...not quite as flashy as some, but I like them. Got them from the Bulldogs Sale. They have #24 on the palms...so I assume they were Francis Lemieux's last year (or during Camp this year). They have plastic inserts in the fingers, and across the back of the hand...They are in pretty good shape overall. Just two small holes in the right hand...

A guy from Toronto wearing Ticats logos on his hockey gear...there has to be a rule somewhere.

I took the white tongues off a pair of Bauer Vapor Inlines, then took off the vapor logo off the tongues. Then I took off the RBK tongues and took them apart. I took out the plastic inserts and sewed them onto the white tongues. Then I took off the RBK logos and put them on the white tongues. I need to get thread though tomorrow or sunday since all I could find in the house was red and I want to use white. Right now the pieces are put together by spray adhesive(besides the plastic insert), which I had to put on anyways so the pieces will be bonded together so they dont move when sewing and it provides more reinforcement.. How much time did this take you? About a Half-hour. The sewing is going to take awhile. Do you have an industrial/leather sewing machine...or are you doing this by hand? I think that's gonna wreck your Mom's Singer!!!!

Since when is Koivu a Bauer guy...? I thought he was CCM (and Easton before that). Ryder used Easton last season, if I recall. When I saw Martin St.Louis flex his stick 2 or 3 times in the Gatorade commercial, it reminded me of this thread. LOL, no wonder there are so many broken sticks in the NHL! I thought that too...but at least HE's flexing HIS stick...not every stick on a rack.
