  1. I wonder what this means for the new Project9 line
  2. 2S will have LS3 unless they've changed something
  3. we request on the order sheet to drill holes for whichever holder the customer plans on using if we order boot only, and they have all arrived as such.
  4. Curious, has anybody had any issues with the padding and foams around the ankles? specifically closer to where your Achilles would line up
  5. going through true directly could never hurt as they'd be able to give you a direct explanation and avoiding any type of communication miscues by going through HM. I was a little shocked about the tongue and lace issue. The shop I'm at has done almost 50 pairs to date, and having fit numerous people personally, I will call the person and see when they can come, but not before doing a "prep" of the skate to make sure everything is lined up properly and ready to go, including tongue laces and holder/steel if it was installed in house. a little lack of care on their part IMO. True has told us, as mentioned above that the imperfection can happen when overlapping occurs during the build process and we have never had any issues with it.
  6. Odd that OEL was the guy they chose to release the graphics with.
  7. I don't know if it would cut the boot lower, but I've seen customs with less eyelets in them in the past
  8. they offer the shot blocker, they don't offer black step unless your shop carries it for edge holders and you install those after market. tongue options are also available
  9. That's where I'm at right now, I currently have 2 jobs to gain experience, however one consistent job with the same hours would be much more manageable while I try to get my life in order haha
  10. Finding full time employment now that I'm done university and grad school is tough. Especially since I decided to stay in the city I moved to for grad school because I was certain there would be more options in my field. It's getting to the point now that I'm best off casting a wider net and settling for something, but I hear so many horror stories about people settling at jobs, and being in my mid twenties I don't want that. Frustrating to say the least.
  11. nope. might not be everybody's cup of tea. how many times have we seen what creatures of habit nhl players are
  12. it looks more like Bauer just pushing the ceiling on what they can charge for sticks to see what people will pay.
  13. I can't give an exact measurement but it's a noticeably lower cut than the super tacks or ft1 when trying them on off the shelf
  14. The new warrior stuff looks great. I won't comment too much about it without getting the green light here, but having felt the new stick as a demo it felt really nice. Interesting tech in it as well.
  15. you mean like CCM's holder that is offered in black?
  16. I'm in Canada and if a customer wants different holders or steel we order boot only and do the installation of tuuks and steel in house, True/VH doesn't even supply it.
  17. ah I didn't zoom in, his latest shipment was actual jetspeed sticks
  18. Not certain it's a repaint
  19. I haven't seen any weakening on the clear coat under the graphics let alone the resin. I'm talking about your wife's/ girlfriends nail polish remover that's in the top drawer, not some heavy duty acetone that you need gloves and a certificate to handle. I think you guys are seriously over thinking most of this.
  20. nail polish remover took the graphics off the super tacks with no problem
  21. nothing too exuberant, got gifted a code for a free mybauer stick at the conclusion of my contract with them, put it in before the 1x lite was available on the customizer. P92 curve, Blue accents full tactile grip.
  22. he never said warrior didn't have players that they pay to endorse their products, that goes without saying. he said that there is a large number of players who, believe it or not, switched over because they enjoy the product and the service. Not every player is as intricate with their equipment as members on this board, it's actually surprising how little many of them know about the gear they're using.
  23. I was told by a close friend that plays in the NHL that when he was sampling different sticks he was almost overwhelmed by the amount of custom options that the warrior rep had available when they made him samples.
  24. I thought that was the focus of the QX Pro. what are the differences between the QXT and the QX Pro lines?
  25. Very interesting concept, however wouldn't all that movement lead to loss in energy? by no means am I a physicist just curious if that wouldn't be the case. In terms of the reviews and comments, I'd take those with a grain of salt. Whenever somebody has access to a free/heavily reduced price item that item seems to suddenly be the best product on the market since sliced bread in their eyes.
