  1. That's really unfortunate what happened Drew, i think you shouldnt flex a stick you don't intend to buy in the first place, and even if you do, like Chadd mentioned just a little pressure will give you a good idea, as for what Drew did, i think he did the right thing, anyone in the right mind would be upset if some kid did something like that, especially when the parents act the way they did. I also think Crossbows are a pretty bad example lol , and i doubt easton would ever be worried about what one would think about their product after a situation like that, i'm sure easton would recognize the fact that some people do rediculous things, it's part of life and as it was previously said, sticks aren't meant to be handled in that matter. Thats unbelievable, some people have no clue! You did the right thing by not getting furtherly involved haha. He was probably troubled.
  2. Nice Dupes! Zajac or parise perhaps ?
  3. Just because you never saw him use it doesn't mean he's never used it in practice or something, i'm sure it's the same.
  4. Well if you're a linesman i would recommend some underarmor and maybe a small hockey jersey underneath. The bulkier you look and the more sure you are of your calls, the more respect you will get, and remember, always talk to the players.
  5. lol having said that i would agree with starsfan, lots of kids shoot the puck towards the boards without looking, not so bad in level 1, but dangerous either way. You may want to also condider getting some ShinTights, ShinTights are a spandex, like material hockey sock, they're meant to go over your shin pads under your ref pants and also over your skate tongue and tendon guard, this keeps your pants over your skates, and no supervisor will go apeshit. And yes white laces are important, in Canada aswell. Michael9 : I like to rock the 4500, I think that bucket goes great for reffing because it's not too bulky/flashy and offers great comfort and protection, it also looks good with just about any visor.
  6. I have some L7's pro stock F.Kaberle practice issue mitts and i find the fingers have great mobility, a friend of mine had some fuels and they fit more like my vapor XXX 's or the one90's like TBL mentioned.
  7. rocket runners makes e-pros even worse lol.
  8. Agreed, try to make this steel last this time lol.
  9. Agreed, but i wouldn't say "lose the fuels" either. They're alot nicer with Light Speeds.
  10. On that note - SmartHockey Stickhandling balls? I know every shop seems to have tons, but I don't think I've ever heard of someone actually buying or using one. I too love those Smart hockey Balls, i have 2, 1 for outside on the cement and 1 for around the house on the floor.
  11. TPs Rubber was not a bust, nor was the vapor XX or the Sickkick. A Rubber response was more of a bust and so is NHL 2K anything
  12. Please excuse me if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if the habs will be having an equipment sale this season ? I've never been to one, and i'd be very interested to pick up as many sticks as i could if they're sold for that cheap.. Thanks in advance.
  13. Well you certainly can't go wrong at that price.
