  2. Hey guys, kind of an outdated gear topic but anyways. I just joined a new team with ~oilers colourway and I had to buy new pants (couldn't go pro-stock because they don't have the orange stripe ) and price difference not worth choosing a shell. Anyways, the ones that fitted best both my body and wallet were those one95 pants. I therefore wondered what has been your experience with them (durability, comfort) and if there was anything I should be looking out for. thanks a lot!
  3. Hey Guys, This is my first post here, so please let me know if anything I've written can be found elsewhere. I was looking for a pro stock pair of hockey pants, but i dont have the ability to try them on, so i am relying on your guys advice for sizing and which model. I am searching for a tapered fit pant, but i am always running into sizing issues. I am 6'1 and 175 with a 32 waist. The problem I am always running into is length with adequate sizing at the waist. I know that they make extensions, but what i have noticed with the extensions is that it drops the entirety of the pants and it feels like it does quite fit right on the hips. I tried out a pair of X900 Medium with the 1 inch extension, but the interlock waist system felt so awkward. I am currently in a pair of CCM QLT Large, but they feel big all over except for length. What pro stock pants would you guys recommend? I have have been looking at nexus (i know that they have a wider fit, but i saw they made a "tall" version), vapor pants, warrior covert or hustler, hp30, hp45, hp UCLX. Would you recommend a Medium with +1 (does the +1 mean the legs are extednded or you can drop an inch at the waist) or maybe Large? I am not too familiar with the different model numbers with CCM and the HPs. I was thinking about these: https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/pants/314705-bauer-dallas-stars-pro-stock-vapor-pant Thanks in advance!
  4. Hi, what is a difference in length between Warrior Pro Stock Pants size Medium+1 and Medium Tall? Or is that same thing? Or which one is possibly longer? Thank you

Eagle Aero Pro Pants & Shoulders

Howdy folks. Both are lightly used (6-8 times). Prices include shipping within Continental US. Really well made, I just prefer a girdle and don't use shoulder pads often enough. Knock $15 if you want both. Aero Pro Pants - Size 50 - Black - $55 Shoulder Pads - Medium - $45

    Long Hockey Pants

Boys, Any ideas on longer hockey pants? I barely need XL pants based on my waist (hoping to lose some lbs and have a smaller waist anyway) but I'm 6'3"+. I can't justify custom RYR pants for beer league / pickup. Side note RYR pants are amazing I used to used them 20 years ago.
  7. I recently bought some second-hand hockey pants and there is no way I could give them back, I also wouldn't want to buy some new ones either. I am trying to figure out how to keep the pants up higher so they don't get in the way. Although I still have not found out what to do yet, any comment, answer would be great. My helmet fits fine at the store, but when I go to practice, my temples start hurting a lot as if someone was squeezing my head super hard. The pain would start probably around 35-50 minutes in. I first had a CCM XT (forgot the size), and the pain would start earlier than the helmet I have now which is the Reebok XT medium. The Reebok one does not hurt as much, but probably will hurt the same when I use it during a game. Any comment would be great. I was thinking of cutting the EPP foam a little but read some articles saying that would void the certification. Recommendations for a wide head, probably a round head would also be great. (Best if the helmet recommendations are under $60) Also the helmets have cages. New edit: Is there any way I could alter ski pants suspenders to fit the hockey pants?

    Size question

Hello everybody, I'm very interested to buy a prostock pants CCM from the Pittsbrugh penguins but I'm worried about the size. It's write "L+2" what does means the +2 ? I guess L is large but then +2... ??!? Thanks :) Balou
  10. Is there a substantial upgrade in quality and protection from these two pants? Also how is the mobility? Coming from supreme one80 pants, I know and understand the fit is different. My main concern is that the x80 is too much of a downgrade from what I have. Thanks in advance. cy

    bruised coccyx

Hey All, took a spill the other night playing pickup, and a bruised my coccyx. (tailbone). Didn't think anything of it until I finished my shift and sat on the bench. Two days later its a little tender, but feeling better since the morning after. I'm not super concerned I broke anything, but I don't want it to happen again. I'm currently skating in Graf G700 Sr. Ice Hockey Pants (i picked them up for 20 bucks). There doesn't seem to be too much protection in the hindquarters. Is there any other padding I can add to what I have now, or should I just bite the bullet and get a pair with more protection "back there" my other option I guess would be to NOT fall? gab
  14. I've recently been using the nxg girdle combo which I liked but I really would like to go to traditional pants but it's been so long since I've used them because the nxg's have lasted long enough. I'd really like to find a pant that isn't very bulky and has (don't really know how to word it) a good mobility to protection ratio I guess. I've been looking at either the stealth cx, ccm rbz, ccm ultra tacks, reebok 20k or 18k. I'm really stuck and it's starting to get really frustrating... why oh why do I have to be so picky... Lol. Thank you!

No cuts or loose seams. $50 SOLD Bauer TotalOne NXG girdle/shell - Size M. Girdle worn about 5 times; navy shell brand new. $40 SOLD

  18. Hi, 2 Months ago, I got checked from behind and felt pretty hard on the ice. You know, feet up in the air and landing complete horizontal on the ice. Result: lower back and especially the tail-bone started to hurt a lot and I was out for 3 weeks. Still today I can tell where I landed on the ice. The bruises are gone but still very sensitive. My pants are Bauer Nexus 600 and if I have to believe the 'rich guys' way to cheap to play beerleague hockey. (Our rich guys are the ones that wear Pro gear like APX2 and buy new skates every 3 months) They told me that my pants have not enough protection and I should buy more high end gear. Total one (girdle), APX2, ... (Bauer and RBK is what's sold here. Bauer is what our team buys) For now I am using a Snowboard crash pant, borrowed from a friend. It helps a lot but it makes my hockeypants feeling less maneuverable. So now I'm a bit stuck in what to do. Keep my pants like they are and try not to fall on my back or go for new pants, with added protection. Or buy me a crash pant. Any advice or experience? thanks

    Bauer TotalOne Pant Shell Options

I have a pair of green Bauer Supreme TotalOne pants I bought on clearance around two years ago. I don't particularly mind that they're green, but I'm considering getting a shell just the same. Will the current Supreme line of shells fit my pair of pants? Will any other brands/lines fit?

    Easton Mako Pants

I cant seem to find any reviews on the Easton Mako Pants. Anyone wearing these or know anything about them? Are they worth it? Thanks!
  21. I purchased my first set of protective hockey gear about a 6 months ago, I was looking to try out for my local high school team, after using the gear for 1 month I figured the restriction of movement and discomfort was being caused because the pads were not broken in but after a few months I figured I had not purchased the right gear. Being to late to return the equipment I learned to deal with it. Now I am looking to improve my gear and my game and I was wondering what the top protective equipment lines are for a combination of Maximum mobility and ideal comfort for elbows, pants, shoulders, and shin pads Let me know if you need more information to answer

    Bauer Vapor x7.0 pants

Just bought a pair of Vapor x7.0 pants, everything is fine with them except when I raise my legs towards my chest it feels like something is restricting that movement a little (where my legs meet my hips) and noticed a piece of padding underneath the hip/thigh pads. When I sit down it bunches up and it's kind of annoying. I don't think my old pants have this. They are only stitched in on one side and was thinking about removing them. Anyone know if they will break in a little, or if removing them is a good idea? How would I go about doing that when they are sewn in without damaging the rest of the pants?

  24. Hate to have to sell these, but I'm moving to a small apartment soon and there won't be much room for collecting. Bought these off another forum back in April and have used them off and on since. Overall condition: 9.5/10 -- some scuff marks along the hips, but no rips, no tears, both zippers intact and working... and overall, still in great shape. I'm throwing in some prostock Buffalo Sabres 3rds Large socks for free as well. Asking $200 shipped within U.S. (if you're in Canada, PM me for a quote) DECIDED TO KEEP, NO LONGER FOR SALE The color in the pictures above make it look a bit too much like a light blue/light orange, but it looks more similar to this:
