Thats a pretty tasty motor, nice to see you didn't go for the first time driver tradition of a small hatchback with no character.

How much is it costing you all-in-all with insurance?

Liking your future car aswell Chadd never seen one before but its kinda a Hummer/Discovery hybrid looking thing.

I've always wondered what person or type of persons would buy one of those..

And I've wanted to ask, why do you like it?

It's the closest thing I can find to my old Amigo, a car I absolutely loved until the engine blew. It's larger than a jeep but not as ungainly as a four door and since I don't have kids, two doors will be fine. After some games my back and knees hurt, getting old sucks, and the ability to just sling the bag into the back and get in without climbing up or down is enticing. Plus I have two big dogs, I can lay the seat down and they have plenty of room to lay down or beat each other up. And a four wheel drive will come in handy when I move to Aruba. ;)

The blue isn't my favorite color but it will do.

I saw a guy ride a motorcycle with his hockey bag out of the rink parking lot.

Anyone here do that? What kind of bike do you ride?

After having it for a week or so, I really love my FJ. Surprisingly, I'm pulling a little over 20MPG in mixed city/highway driving. I was expecting to only get 20 on the highway.

Aside from my motorcycles....my main vehicle is pretty simple.

2000 Toyota Tacoma ext cab, 2 wd, 4cyl, 5 spd manual. All the utility of a truck, and all the frugality of 26mpg in mixed driving. Can't beat that combination. ;)

Very nice. Just get ridof that ugly plate cover on the bumper.

That was next on my to-do list for the car.
