I noticed in the latest Sports Illustrated that Kovalchuk has a pair of Easton EQ50s with Tuuk holders in front of him on the floor. Is he now wearing Easton instead of Bauer? Also he is wearinf what looks to be antique DR shoulder pads.

For some reason, I really like the jerseys. The color scheme is really nice, it's a pretty simple jersey and hey, I'm a sucker for laces.

The white shoulders set it apart from the panthers, although the colors are similar. I love the powder/navy blue color scheme but im worried that if it gets overused it will lose its appeal... I like the looks of the new logo though. the mascot could use some work lol

I caught a close-up of the glove yesterday when the Habs were playing. The feed wasn't in HD so it was hard to tell, but I swear it looked like it only had 3-rolls on the backhand of the glove.
