MileHighJSC 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2014 Best fitting skates I have had are Easton Zair comp 03, or 04, not sure the year, Silver and black, I believe they were made in canada, 8d. When easton switched to the synergy China made skates did the sizing stay the same? Specifically the s17 would I still be the same size? Would you guys say that the boot will be comparable in stiffness? I know the s17s are probably only 2/3 the weight, what other things are different about the skates? Probably not the quality, it is suspect with such a big weight reduction. Thanks

Krev 86 Report post Posted January 19, 2014 Yes, and I responded to your PM's. Long story short, wait for the Mako 2s to come out and pick up the Mako 1s on clearance. I was a size 8 in all Easton skates I've worn. Air Comps, 1500c, S15, S17, Makos.
