What kind of golf clubs do you use?

Recommended Posts

Update: I just recently bought a set of Mizuno Mx-17 irons. Went out yesterday and tried them out, little bit off, went out today front was a little bit off, but my back was unreal. I love how they feel, nice high ball flight, and good spin.

I bought a set of those last summer, and they lasted 1 range session and 1 round. I just can't hit shovels.

I found a minty fresh set of MX-20s at a bargain price, so I bought them with the intent of flipping them on ebay and doubling my money. Then I hit them at the range, and they knocked the Cally Fusions out of the bag right quick.

I loves me some thin-topline shiny, buttery soft, forged goodness! :D

Driver: Ping TiSi Tec 7 deg. ET (it's a cannon)

fairway wood: Orlimar (sp?) TriMetal 13 deg.

Irons 3-pw : Ping i3 Blade (hybrids are for newbies)

Sand wedge: Wilson Staff 56 deg

Putter: some POS target putter

I love the i3 Blades. Consistently straight, pretty accurate. The TiSi Tec (it might be Ti Tec, my clubs are 5500 miles away from me right now) is a beast, easy to hook up with, even with an open hosel, I don't have problems slicing. Teeing the green on the 284 yd. 9th hole at my local course is pretty sweet (the tee box is up on a pretty big hill, so it'd probably be equal to 250yd on flat ground). I can't wait to golf again :P

was digging around and found this thread, got some new clubs for my birthday.

Nike Sasquatch Driver, had the big bertha 460 but cracked the face, had the big bertha woods as well, but also broke them, waiting on the new taylormade woods to arrive, callaway x20 custom irons, callaway labeled odeysse (sp?) putter, and the callaway pro bag (huge obnoxious leather) and the travel case. thank you grandpa :P

I bought a G2i Craz-e putter off ebay quite a while ago for about 80 bucks (i think). Lately, i've been playing just brutal, and it hasn't been working, but couple weeks ago when I was playing my regular game, I was dropping anything inside 10 ft with it.

Edit: I figured for the price difference from the G5i and the G2i, i might as well get the G2i. Thus far, no complaints.

Why was the other thread closed? who cares if it's a repost? this thread is 4 years old and this site is dead, there's no need to bring the old one up. This place needs more threads, why be so strict?

Wooden driver from the 60's that I had re-gripped.

wooden 3 and 5 woods

Taylor made tour preferred 2 iron

Taylor made 320 irons (hand me down from papa bear)

Wilson 56* wedge

Old old old putter that has to be from the 50-60's

My stuff isn't great but I can consistently hit them straight, so it doesn't bother me that much.
