The way he fit and stitched them too much material bunches in my hands when I grip the stick and they’re unusable. Other people have told me to either take them to a cobbler or just send them in to a repair shop. 2 cobblers so far said no that their machine wouldn’t fit the gloves.

Personally, I need the lower lie of the CCM P90TM, but really want to try the LX3 pro stick

P90TM Curve

https://modsquadhockey.com/forums/topic/73997-p90tm-curve/?do=findComment&comment=1136074

I haven’t used the Warrior retail version, but I have used the pro stock P90T, which is probably the closest to pro Benn that’s out there. For what it’s worth, here’s my experience having used most of the available variations. The pro Benn, which is my favourite, has the highest lie and the deepest, most sudden, deep kink at the very toe. It’s basically a true P92 that’s been modified at the end, which actually makes it slightly shorter than a standard P92. The CCM pro version of p90t is very close to the same thing, but the kink is a bit less aggressive. The retail CCM and Bauer P90TM play quite a bit differently than a pro Benn. The lie is significantly lower and the curve runs more through the blade, with only the slightest break right at the toe. I actually find switching from a Benn to a retail P92, or even a P28, easier than going from a Benn to a P90TM. The TRUE version (TC6 / P90T) is also kind of its own thing, which I personally find very difficult to use. It has a narrower heel and a rounder toe, almost like a P91. The kink is a bit more pronounced than the P90TM, but not dramatically so. Even PRO’s Benn version isn’t really a true Bauer Benn. It’s based on the pro CCM version, which has a slightly softer kink. For me, it’s either Bauer Benn or something entirely different. Lately I’ve been using PRO’s Thompson. I find it plays somewhat similarly to Benn but it’s much longer and taller, with the most aggressive toe break of all of them. I’ve tried most of the popular toe patterns over the years and I’ve found the Thompson is the best and most fun for puckhandling. The downside is that because I’m about a foot shorter than Thompson, I find it harder and slower to lift my heel and load a shot properly because of the angles of a very long blade without forgiving pocket. All of this should probably be prefaced with the fact that I’m extremely picky about curves and have likely lost my mind at some point, which may be messing with this entire analysis.

JOFA is BACK!!! But, to avoid lawsuits would it probably have to come with a bunch of giant warnings that say “not intended for use as a protective helmet. Jofa never really went away either. The name was retired, but its influence is everywhere. Almost everything on the market today is a direct descendent of Jofa or a clear rip off of it. From what I have seen it only model of the following, shoulders, elbows, shins, gloves and the old 580 cage. It doesn't look like anything special and in a way very nostalgic. I can see that it is using the D3O foam, The shoulders look like an old pair of the Vector shoulder pads just rebranded as I'm sure the cage will be the same.

The funny thing is that Quad isn't even a big profile and I know Swedish players are known for having large profiles with shallow hollow. Zetterberg and Petterson on Detroit II (the goalie profile) Zinebajad on Detroit I, etc. So you must be on the extreme end with 40mm on a Quad or maybe it's common in your team(s)?

Question for the QUAD profile skaters

https://modsquadhockey.com/forums/topic/77928-question-for-the-quad-profile-skaters/?do=findComment&comment=1136060

The longer heel is what does it for me too. I am so used to it now that when I skate on a profile that does not have it, (like 10' or even Zuperior) and you go to push off with the heel, the steel isn't there and the skate starts tipping backwards (because just like you said it's too rounded). I can't live without it now.

Question for the QUAD profile skaters

https://modsquadhockey.com/forums/topic/77928-question-for-the-quad-profile-skaters/?do=findComment&comment=1136059

Iv’e been on much shallower hollow in the past. Now i’m only coaching my sons U13 Team. When i still played i was on 41mm hollow, (1 1/2 is 38mm).

My son who is 12 years old is on 1 1/16 Quad XS.
The club i coach for focus a lot on edgework and being strong on the edges, inside and outside. We always start the practice with focus on skating for about 20 minutes. So i guess the skating focus is a big factor in being able to use such a shallow hollow as most of the kids on my sons team do.
