Tucker's Trilage

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any information about the black and red Trilage Darcy Tucker was playing with last night vs. Montreal?

I love the TZ4 and am looking for a new stick soon so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

guys i did a little bit of research ( I used the zoom i button on the computer)

this is a new stick by TRILAGE and it is called the Vendetta im not really a big fan of trilage sticks just because they dont come in intermediate and they feel a little stiff i hope this one comes in an intermediate if so i will definatelly think about picking one up.

I hate Warrior for what it has done with the trend of stupid names for hockey gear.

I'm not too educated on Trilage. Are they new or have they just been under the radar?

They've been way under the radar. I remember seeing an ad in the USA hockey magazines a while back when they made a triangled stick... not just the shapely shape style they have now. The new stick you are refereing to, one of them was given to my buddy. He had an engineer develope a new end plug for a stick and he was trying to sell it to Trilage. long story short, they gave him on of the new model sticks in a right hand, and the only problem is he's a leftie... so he gave it to my our other buddy. Seems like a good stick. Just still seems tooo gimicky for myself though

That pic shows the "Toxic" (blue) and the "Vendetta" (black). I'm not sure about the 3rd one though. It could be the"TZ4" or the "Toxic orange" but I can't tell from that picture.

The Vendetta replaces the TZ4 and the Toxic orange adds a new flex to the line-up.

The Toxic and Vendetta are available in 111, 101 and 81 flex in senior while the Toxic orange is (only) available in 91.

The TZ4 is still availabe in a 51 flex junior.

how much does the new trilage cost?

They should be around $190.00 for the TZ4, Toxic (blue) and Vendetta. You can get a closeout Shanahan or McCarty curve for about $150.00 on the TZ4 right now.

Around $130.00 for the Toxic orange.

$120-$135.00 for a junior and $125 for a TZ3 shaft (senior only).

Hey guys, I just wanted to give everyone an update. I manage Summit Hockey Shop in Tempe, AZ and we carry Trilage sticks. The new models are as follows:

Toxic (Blue/Silver) - lightweight, lower kick point (kick point is 4 inches above the blade), good for quick rising shots, a little thicker shaft in the hand (Available in 111, 101, 81, JR 51 Flex)

Vendetta (Black/Silver) - lightweight, thinner in the hand, a little higher kick point, better for passing and snap shots, more of a finesse stick (Available in 111, 101, 81 Flex)

Toxic Orange (Orange/Silver) - 20% figerglass making it more durable and a little heavier, same stick technology as Vendetta and Toxic, low kick point similar to Toxic, and a more affordable price point (Available in 91 Flex)

TZ4 - still around, but Vendetta took its place in the stick line (Avalilable in JR 51 Flex)

Curves:

A - Modano

B - Iginla

C - Lidstrom

D - Sakic

E - Drury

I can't figure out how to load the pictures, but if anyone is interested email me at eric@summithockey.com and I can get them to you.

We have most sticks in stock and if we don't we can special order them and can ship to anywhere in the US or Canada.

Hope this helps have a great day,

Eric

I see this stick /brand is still around. Anyone have any feedback on the current production and quality of the sticks?

I’m actually surprised that one of the bigger name companies didn’t buy the shaft design. Really liked the feel of it. But maybe there's something I don’t know and the design may be more vulnerable to breaking.

Actually the design was very durable. I still have some junior shafts in the closeout bin. If you think of it a triangular shaft fits more naturally in the hand than a rectangle. Less movement, means more accuracy.
