I can't speak from experience on the Vaughn-manufactured Grafs about holding up over time as I just bought these, but I do know Vaughn's products are respected, and an inspection of my 7900s gives me the impression these are as well made as my 10+ year old Grafs, or anyone else's product currently in the marketplace. I plan to skate on these a few more times to get comfortable, and possibly buy another identical pairs as I normally rotate my gear, and usually bring 2 pairs of skates to the rink as I block a ton of shots and have broken blades before. Rotating skates, especially once I start playing a few times a week again (hopefully, pandemic permitting) helps keep them "fresh" and able to last for hopefully 10 years, which I've heard is a lot longer than most people keep their skates. Given that some of the past 10 years I was on the ice 4-5x per week, I'd have to say I got my money's worth with my G70s. I hope to do the same with the new 7900s.

Looks like Alex Ovechkin will be finishing out his career with the Capitals unless he gets traded.

It'll be interesting to see if he can get close to Gretzky's scoring record. He'd have to average about 30 goals per season.

Thru eyelets 4, 5 and 6 you have more depth than the Supremes. To me it looks like the boot has way too much volume for you (ergo creasing). I'd be interested to see you doing a pencil test across the eyelets, my guess is you would have around 1cm of space, if this is the case the boot isn't right for your foot shape unless you intend to fill that space over the top of the foot with an ultra thick tongue or some inserts.

Did ya really need to go all coppers on those?

Compared to the FT4 or Bauer Hyperlites, the 100Ks are easily the best ‘traditional’ looking skate on the market

Although they'll be in Beijing for the 2022 Olympics and are hundreds of miles away from Wuhan, I wonder if any teams or athletes are hesitant to go there. I hear zero news of the delta variant of COVID-19 in China. Although they were locked down sooner than the rest of the world, they also opened up sooner.

"beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I personally feel they are a lot more conservatively looking skates compared with all these flashy red and yellow colors modern skates are painted with nowadays! clearly you have trunks in place of your ankles 😉 here's what mine look from the side - the tongue is way back vs budging out like in your case: https://ibb.co/tB6MwsB and here's the view of the skate creasing when flexing: https://ibb.co/s9STWm5 (not sure why it won't let me just insert images btw, I try to use 'insert image from URL' but it simply doesn't work)
