I would say that Barber isn't one of the normal retail orders, so he would get stuff earlier than other people would. I would guess to push it a few months from when his appeared.
If flex thumb matters to you, I’ve had trouble finding CCMs with flex thumbs. Seems like more of them are rigid. Some people don’t care, or are happy to cut the thumb loops, but the non-flexing thumb is a deal breaker for me.
This is the place I use to cut down my vintage cuffs and for repalming...those are both my gloves pictured there...

Custom Pro Repair (CPR) is the golden standard and used for numerous NHL players. I’ve had 5 or 6 gloves modded by Ken. Unfortunately, I heard that they’re so backed up with pro orders right now that they’re not taking orders from casual people like us until next year. Even when they were, wait times were generally around the 6 month mark depending on the time of year.
Over 15 years ago when Bauer was in the process of developing the first Supreme One90 with Fusion steel, their RD & D department did perform those exact tests to determine the effects of boot/blade/weight as it relates to player productivity over the 60 minutes of the game. So while some may not believe there is an advantage in reducing the weight of the steel, Bauer took the time to prove it to themselves before diving into Fusion steel. JR and myself are friends of the guys that did the research and designed the Supreme series boots.
