  1. Iron Mike had some logic behind what he was doing, the other one, I'm not sure! ;)

Don't worry guys, what doesn't kill you, make you stronger...

Tell me about it, I have been married to the same woman for 25 years

    now that's funny stuff

David, when all the former Blues come in Tuesday for Brett Hull night, just ask them what is was like to play for Mike Keenan - you'll think Murray is your best buddy compared to Iron Mike

  2. Words from a real fan, wise words!

Looking forward to meet you one day Jeff!

    Peace bro...

None of the young Blues will shine under Murray

Just be patient David you are still playing very well and do not take it personally.

The most disappointing thing with Murray is that Every game you start almost from the ground up.

The accomplishments of the game before are ignored.

Actually what people have to realize is it is even more amazing what David Perron has accomplished under Murray.

It truly is, I would think that many young players would wither under this man.

PS : David Don't let the media trick you into saying anything.

Things will play out and take care of themselves. Stay as far away from this as you can.

  3. Welcome on here, linemate at shinny!

As JR said. I did a Q&A on Twitter tonight and plan on doing that once in a while.

By the way, I wanna thank everyone for their support over the years and I plan to be a little more active on MSH.

JR and I are planning to do a chat on MSH chat in a few weeks at most. Your support is amazing and that is why I'm trying to give everyone a chance to see what NHLers are up to and stuff like that.

I am still a fan of the game and the NHL and I know how everyone is feeling sitting at their computers right now and trying to know more about the equipments, the nhl and hockey in general. That's what its all about. It is very motivating to think that I'm living a dream a lot of people would die for. I hope I will be able to help as many people as I can to reach theirs as well. NHL or not.

Talk to you guys very soon.

hey Dave, it's Alain Bellavance aka hands of steel lol!, keep up the good work!

    ;)

  4. David has been named the MVP of the tournament as well, he did played amazing defensive hockey as well during the tournament...

And I've seen all the games they played, man Jack Johnson is hell of a talented hockey player. He's gonna be the best defenseman in the NHL in 5 years IMO...

Congratulations on winning the Annual A bout de souffle

David Perron played defence in this tournament and apparently pretty well.

  5. WTF, he played decent yesterday, just missed the net in two opportunities.

dam David, calm down, you rushing everything...

Use your vision and stop trying that weak shot from impossible angles...

Common, you can do this, Go Blues!!!

  6. Hey guys,

I'm just back from Montreal, it was a FANTASTIC weekend and yeah I have many insights, lol.

I don't know if JR could organized a special chat or something but I would be ready to answer you guys questions...

I'm pretty sure Pascal is there for all of this. It will be interesting to hear his thought as a 'fan' who also has some special insight/access to things.

  7. Totally agree with that post.

they say he acts bad around other players, shows up late to practice and throws his hands in the air wen someone misses a pass at practice...

if you ask me David is in thought because they drafted him because he was an exciting player, flashy with white Grafs (when he got drafted) with good hands and allot of vision but when he gets to ST-Louis, they paint his skates and ask him to tone his style down... Same with Robby Schremp, if you draft a guy for what he was doing, why try to change him like that?

Honestly, who cares if he has white skates? guys like Antropov, Tucker, Mara have em and I don't see it as being a problem, his decisions make him who he is, who you originally drafted...

  8. Guys, relax a bit...David is a good prospect and probably the most talented player on the Blues roster but IMO he's not ready physically to play on a regular shift game after game in this league. Yesterday, it was Calgary, a hard-hitting game so I think it was a good idea from Murray to sit him and put players who are better at handling the rough stuff.

Maybe some will find me crazy but I find Murray is doing a perfect job with David by intergrating him slowly to the team and the league. So David needs to keep on working and workout out of the ice so he can continue to mature physically.

So for my part, good job Andy and I'd say the Blues will bounce back and win against Detroit thursday.

  9. No, he still can post on MSH without problem. I don't know why he's not posting anymore though.

Since David is now a pro, does this mean he can no longer post on MSH? I can see NHL teams putting something like that in a contract (i.e. no internet communication except through the team's official site).

  10. I know what you mean.

Its such a weird feeling seeing him. I know, it sounds stupid, but i kinda feel like i know him and hes like a familiar guy when i see him on tv or youtube. I mean we (especially Pascal haha) know him for a period of time and for everyone else hes the "new rookie guy".

Im really literally happy for him !

  11. CHIPPA13, you are just a fuc.... haters.

Yikes...David just got stripped by PM Bouchard & the Blues D were nowhere to be found...2 on 0...Bouchard to Rolston...6-0 Wild...Blues are gettin' hosed.

Last man back commits a giveaway, welcome back to juniors.

It happens...I think what is going on with him is that they want to see how he is going to bounce back. Everyone has a bad game.

There's been more upside than down with him, and that's why STL will keep him as long as they can before making the final decision.

Power to him if they decide to let him respond to that mistake. Unfortunately, most 19 year olds don't get the luxury of learning from your mistake with the big club.

  12. Perron believes things turned around for him in 2004 when he found a passion for hockey, instilled in him by his brother. He started workouts then that have become legendary near his Quebec home.

"I would be playing on the rink for seven and eight hours every day," Perron said. "After that I would go home and start working on my stickhandling and my shot. I was always playing hockey and it has given me this passion for the game. I owe that to my brother."

    Good memories...
