Used them since I was a wee lad, when the only option for waxed laces was yellow.

Just picked these up for $449. They are by far the most comfortable skates I have worn in a really long time. They remind me a lot of the original vapors. Really impressed with the feel so far. Can't wait to get them on ice.

And of course, yellow laces have already replaced the stock ones.-

I used to run a 10D in the S12, and went down to a 9.5D in the One95. Would love to pick up a pair of the M8s since I'm finally getting back into the game after a couple year hiatus, but am unsure which size to go for since there isn't anywhere nearby I can get to in order to try stuff on.
I too am curious, how the M8s compare to graf sizes. I wear 9 in grafs. Should I go with an 8.5D in M8s?

Oh, is it literally Graf Europe is distributing to NA now? Also, did anyone else notice they said North America and Canada... Canada is in North America.

What does this mean!? Graf is back!? What's going on!?

These would be our premium moulds, which are built to last, so the curve would be made available to the public for any future orders as well.
I'd be all over the Shanahan if it was the newer type. Especially with that square toe.

Square toe P88 would be amazing and I would feel be really popular. It sucks that you can only get square toes in defensemen patterns.

As a Graf user I have always had positive experiences with Graf skates (currently in G9035)I also like to support the smaller independent guys Base, True, Eagle, tackla, etc as they offered something different to the table. I know economics play a large part but it was nice to have the options out there.
I am the same way, I have a True stick, eagle gloves, graf skates. I like those guys who really try to specialize in mainly one thing, I feel they do a lot better job. I am going to be sad if more of these companies leave and I am left just taking whatever Bauer/CCM deigns to give me.

Fuck, that really sucks. They made some of the finest skates and had some of the best innovations. Will be sad to see them go, looks like when it comes time I'll be moving on to a pair of VH skates.

The zipper palm system will either go down as one of the greatest innovations or the dumbest of ideas. It just seems like it's one of those things where it either works really well or it doesn't work well at all. No middle ground.

I had the step below it and absolutely hated it. I believe the shoulder caps are of the same design. Haven't heard much good about Reebok shoulder pads.

TSR, DK? Not aware of those acronyms. Also, how do you find the team sales? I'll keep checking eBay and the online shops.

Where do you guys get your pro-stock? I have been on the hunt after some Arizona Coyotes black w/maroon cuff gloves for a while now. They were like $110 for a while and I thought I had more time on the sale to buy them and now they are back to $160.
-
Damn you, I want those mitts!
I feel like they were specifically made for goalies who play out sometimes and don't want to leave behind their Brians gear.

With all these new smaller manufactures roaming about, has the options for custom gloves widened or is it still just Warrior and Eagle? To say it less weird, any new companies start doing custom gloves?
-
I normally hate black holders, but ooooo boy is that fucking sexy. I bought 8035s right before 9035s went on sale. I am a bit salty about it still.

I got some new Eagles. I have wanted them since I was a kid, but was never able to get them. I am absolutely in love with how comfortable they are, I have had Bauers, CCMs, Warriors, Hespellers, Sherwoods, Coopers, Missions, Random ass ones I forgot about. These are by far the best right off the bat.

No, if anything I felt faster. They are on the heavier end of a modern skate, so that may contribute to that feeling slightly, but for me I didn't notice anything. They felt a lot better and I skated a lot better. I was coming off a pair of Graf's I truly hated though.
