A couple of recent additions (St. Mike's Vapor XXXX's and X:60 girdle) and a family pic os the mitts.

Found a pic from last season; I'm #11 in green:

Nothing wrong with the 8500; actually one of the better looking helmets in my opinion.

Is there any info regarding pricing on the 7K skates?

Incredible game! Too bad I have to go to work now

ddbowdoin: Nice shell! Mind passing along the eBay seller? Here is my new bucket (thanks to skeeter14):
Nice helmet, is it spray painted or is it me.
No spray paint, just crappy lighting in the garage (Albany River Rats pro stock). I didn't like the silver subshell so this one was perfect for me.

New bucket:Mission Intake EPP Pro Stock in Monnesota Green.
Where did you pick that up? It would match our jerseys perfectly.
Hockey Monkey has them in VN or EPP ($40 and $65 respectively):

Thanks guys, they are even better in person. Plastic inserts everywhere, very soft palms, and they fit me perfectly. Not quite the royal blue and orange I had originally ordered, but these will do nicely. I think I might just have to order another pair in Minnesota colors B)

Finally got the issue with Hockey Monkey resolved:

-
Picked up a few new toys:
- Phantoms replica jersey, pro-stock socks and some Easton Synergy 500's.
- Bilt-Rite girdle ($.99 bargain on eBay) and a pair of Reebok 8K elbow pads.
- Mission Titanium, CCM U+ and a Montador Vapor XXXX (broken OPS for $1.48 on eBay; not pictured).

Just picked up a new pair of Easton S12's to replace my One95's. I personally think they look great, photos don't really do them justice.Awesome skates! I've been wanting to pick up that model. Keep us updated!
Thanks! I will post a mini-review as soon as I get them out on the ice.

just curious, how is your foot shaped to know that eastons fit you better?Normal width heel, wide midfoot, wide forefoot, normal arch, right foot about a quarter of a size longer. They were great volume-wise but the point where the toecap met the front of the boot just seemed to cut across the joint of my big toe/foot. I had basically the same problem with a pair of Vapor XX's I picked up. Hope that helps.

Just curious but why are you replacing your One95s? Was there an issue with them? Again just curious..Too narrow across the toes; otherwise great skates. I have always had trouble with Bauers in regards to the toebox, but the One95's fit very well initially and I found a deal that was too good to pass up. Eastons just seem to fit my foot shape better than any other brand of skate (so far at least).

Check that skate mount...They look crooked to my untrained eye. Expert opinions?
The holders the same size?
Yeah, both are 272. This is one of those instances where the lack of a LHS really becomes a burden; guess I'll be sending them off for a re-mount. Given my lackluster skating skills, I don't think they will adversely affect my performance on the ice :P

Eagle X70i's in team colors with MSH2 plams by fixitbymail.comWow, I hate to say it, especially considering who it is, but I'm beginning to agree with TBLfan...but I'd have to see some other jobs first.
I love the palms themselves, however their workmanship is sloppy at best. I had to trim many loose threads and a small amount of palm that was sticking out beyond the stitching. Their customer service was equally suspect

Just picked up a new 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i premium. Loving the all-wheel-drive!

Regarding the E-pro gloves, is it possible to get a pair in the pro colors (MN for instance)? I wasn't sure what was meant by "available under special programs only".

Santa was good to me as well this year!
It's truly amazing how well a properly fitted high-end skate can perform.

BJB: St. Mike's gloves are 13". I had my eye on them for a while and once TSR lowered the price to $75 I decided to jump on them.
Shooter27: As for the X:60 girdle I absolutely love it so far. I've used it for 4 games now and the thing is so comfortable and far more protective than the traditional pants I have worn in the past. The only thing I had a little trouble getting used to was how high the spinal protector came up my lower back; not a bad thing just something that took some adjusting to.
