The AK27 is not a combo actually, it's fused like the Dolomite / 1100. It's noticably lighter than the Dolomites I have (in fact it's lighter than my XN10s), but I find the shaft vibrates a little more and has a little less pop. Remember though, these are pro sticks so they're not comparable to the retail versions. Flash - Of all the sticks you have...which company tends to have the highest quality product, stick in and stick out, TPS, Easton, Warrior, etc? (I am refering to performance coupled with durability, feel, etc)
-
Does anyone know if the standard blades (AK27's) are normal length hosel's like Easton, TPS, etc...or does each curve have a different length hosel like Inno's did? That used to really piss me off to have to change my shaft lenght for a blade

2006 NBH Player/Accessories Catalogue
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2006 Product Catalogue Reviews
Good call. Good bye Bauer :( JR - Do you know if they will eliminate one line of skates? If they did I would assume it would be the Flexlite, just because the Supreme line was just redone and the Vapor is so popular -
2006 NBH Player/Accessories Catalogue
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2006 Product Catalogue Reviews
What will change for 2007? Having a full range of NBH, Nike, and Bauer skates? Or the Flexlite 12 will change? I would guess both would change and NBH will be a single line from here on out. -
Thanks

Anyone notice the Intake helmet is different than the pro version. There are ugly pieces on the side of the helmet where the expanding peice is. Look at the picture of players in the catalog (it resembles the HC100 side). The retail version has a different style adjuster that sticks out and doesn't mesh as well with the helmet
-
Yes it is... Also, it looks like the standard Redlite is gone...too bad, it was a great shaft

A lower cut skate will allow you to extend your stride but some players are unable to change to a lower cut boot. I feel like I get a much better stride and agility when I have a lower cut boot, but I feel like I lose speed in a lower cut skate...I might have not given it enough of an opportunity

Some decent looking gloves, prices still going up? Thank you JR
-
Unfortunately no
-
Bingo. ;) So you kept 10 eyelets and just reduced the height of the boot?
-
MRod, your spelling sucks and you have warned us about the arrival of your MIA's about 20 times now ;)
-
Thanks again...keep them coming
-
You think that is something they would notice in R&D.
-
It looked like it in the profile in the catalog <_< I was also hoping for an 85 Drury ST
-
Unless he changed, he used to use about 110 flex
-
According to the catalog, the Synergy II blades are 15 grams lighter than Synthesis blades
-
Thanks guys, once again, great work!
-
We're working on them B)

They are X70's with split fingers and plastic inserts. Not really a full team yet, sort of a joke that got out of control ;)

2005 Eagle Catalogue Review
JGraz15 replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2005 Product Catalogue Reviews
I see what itchman is saying. In the catalog, the D-9 pattern has an 'X' design on the back rolls and the D-8 has the arrow look. On Eagle's home page, the D-8 is showing with the 'X' and the D-9 with the arrow -
Isn't that just the new CCM Pro Tack?
-
I would say it is a good change though. I liked the way the skate fit and felt on my foot.
-
I tried on the 2005 CCM Pro Tack skates today and was surprised how much I liked them. They are much improved in my opinion, from the 2004 model
