been nearly 6 mo's since i worked in a shop but: -flexing sticks doesnt bother me, people who flex sticks in the wrong direction do -had a kid come in for a sharpening, hold his skates up, and say, "skates" to which the only logical reply was, "Yup, no argument here." -kids who think "synergy" is a universal word for OPS' "do you have the TPS synergy, or the RBK synergy?" "Hello (shop name) this is Buzz" -"Youre open?" "nope, im the 24 hour secretary" -parents who buy their kids $189 sticks, and 49.90 skates

It makes it very easy when comparing curves, sight unseen. clears up some confusion nicely -

Plus the curve descriptions look verbatim right out of the BNH catalogue -
2006 Salming Catalogue
Buzz_LightBeer replied to JR Boucicaut's topic in 2006 Product Catalogue Reviews
It compared the two tonight. The 46 is close to a Shanny, but the toe is slightly less open and it looks like it starts its curve closer to the heel than Shanahan does. The description sounds like a Jokinen/ PL106 -

I wonder if the weight or robitaille arent Murray clones? robitaille looks similar to P106 in that picture maybe just wish ful thinking> :-D -
the frnklin was a retail pattern, his pro curve is a YP, maybe even a little more open

Are these going to be 1252 Tacks skates?
Buzz_LightBeer replied to Jim Bob's topic in Ice Hockey Equipment
They look similar to what Vern Fiddler wears, Tacks with white "bauer" like stitching on them and the only marking says "PRO" on the tongue and tendon -
