so there is pretty much no chance of me touching a pro stock kovalev blade - especially since i am right handed.

if i called up warrior and said can you make a right handed pro stock kovalev blade for me they would probably laugh huh?

Obviously it's not worth the energy to dial. You can either try to find any of David's pro returns floating around or find a Kovalev pro and get it mirrored and made a custom blade from a company.

camhockey16 and Dalston,

Retail patterns are usually given pro player's name to identify them but they usually don't have any link or similarity with the "pro" player pattern. Kovalev pro and retail warrior Kovalev are 2 different things.

I know?

That was why i went in and found a prostock Kovalev on patterndb?

Mike Johnson is now on waivers which is good news for David.

Good luck tonight!!

Using David in the same role as Johnson won't really work will it? David needs 1st or second line minutes with other skill players. I don't think that is what Johnson was getting. Mind you, I didn't see any of his games in St. Lou...but I know how Montreal used him last year.

Kovalev pro has more of a rocker on the bottom if I recall. Inno used to make the pro Kovy available at times, good luck finding one of them though.

Weight-Rucinsky is a scoring combo, their line needs to be used as a scoring line and they are currently not doing that. THe blues have the following two scoring lines:

Boyes-Tkachuk-Kariya

McClement-Backes-Stempniak

The Rucinsky-Weight-? line should share #2 minutes with the "kid" line (M-B-S) but neither of those two lines has done anything worth looking at... the "energy" line (King-Hinote-Mayers) is good for what they do so the only thing left to do is put someone who is ofensively gifted (such as Perron) with Weight and Rucinsky and hope that tips the scale.

You roll your three scoring lines and then use the fourth line sparingly. That fourth line has some great role players but with those three scoring lines the fourth line will have to kill penalties and find their minutes where they can.

Aye, that's the point.

As it stands right now the Blues have seen some major production from the Kariya line and minimal production from the kid line and the Weight line...

The energy line is a role line, absolutely and thye play their roles very well... PK, grinder, energy is their game.

The blues need more output from the Kid line and from the Weight line, the kid line will come, it's just a matter of time but Andy Murray has tried so many combinations of forwards in that spot with the Weight line that it's kind of silly, they know Weight likes Perron and the two play a similar game so I hope David can slide in there and round out that line so that all three lines can be as productive as they have the potential to be.

Murray has had a tendency in the past to roll four lines all game long.

I'll concede that, he has given the energy line more time than necessary in some more recent games but I believe that is a direct consequence of the under production of Weight's line and the Kid line.

Hopefully he changes that "tendancy" when those two lines start to produce and rolls those three scoring lines for a majority of the game.

I don't think it helped much that the game was loaded with penalties but yeah, hard to disagree with the post above.

Yeah, 22 minutes + of special teams and Ovechkin played 25 minutes... no flow to the game at all.

But, buttom line is -- Blues won and David was apart of that even if it was just 5 minutes.

And a typically painful online translation:

David Perron has surprised many people by taking down a station at the Blues of Louis Saint at the 19 years age, at the end of its first camp of professional drive. The leaders of this team astonish however even more by almost not using it...

The Blues disputed nine meetings since the beginning of the calendar, and the talented left winger of Sherbrooke endorsed the uniform only twice.

October 12, vis-a-vis to Colorado, the trainer Andy Murray had transferred Perron within the second trio and this last had obtained a mention of assistance. Saturday, Perron began its second match of the season, but it obtained only five minutes of time of play.

What do the Blues try to make the Juste? Wouldn't perron make better turn over to Lewiston with its junior team?

The first on the skating rink

Last week, the principal interested one was estimated lucky to be able to continue its training in the entourage of the team. And he badly said to understand that its situation can be perceived in a negative way.

"There is no problem, it ensured. The trainer knows that I am able to play and the leaders are patient with me ".

"Andy Murray said to me that he had liked my way much of playing when he used me, but he as explained me as the team counts several veterans that it is necessary to respect", he added.

Perron tries to extract the maximum of its situation by redoubling heat with the drive.

"I involve myself extremely with the gymnasium with our specialist in physical conditioning, it underlined".

"And at the time of the training of the team, I am always the first on the skating rink and the last to be left".

"I always was like that. The year spent with Lewiston, Clément Jodoin was to baffle itself with me to make me leave the skating rink. I adore that!"

The Blues know an interesting beginning of season - they are sixth in the West - and Perron will have to start again to exploit a regular base one day or the other in order to continue its progression.

"It would be interesting to turn over to the juniors and to be likely to play with the junior team of Canada", Perron indicated.

"But, if I had the choice, I would remain with Saint Louis, even while playing seldom", it admitted ingenuously.
