Tried a new lacing pattern (The Crosby) and like it a lot. Skipped the second to last eyelet and looped through the top. Forward flex is great and the stability is even better.

Is that a Panamera? Very jealous.

Cayman. It's a really great drive. Hugs the corners really well thanks to the mid-engine :)

Awesome car, OR!

Played 2 hours of drop in with the boy today...been doing it every Sunday, private that a guy's he knows runs. So much fun! Thinking I should start one up. Has everyone pay up front for a month, he rents the ice and we play. If I could get the numbers, it would be great skate & a sweet bump on my AMEX points!

oh, someone got a car, I thought it was a freeze frame from a Cialis commercial

If that pic was a Rockwell painting it would be called "midlife crisis".

you should've gotten a roof rack for your leg pads

Hah, will have to continue using the XC90 for my goalie stuff. My player stuff would probably fit in the front trunk though.

Scored 2 Z-Leader visor kits at the local play it again NIB. $15 each. I've been wanting to try this set up for a year or two now and stubbled upon it.

Stumbled upon 2 Z-Leader visor kits @ $15 each at Play It Again. I've been looking to try this for a year or two now and they had them new in box.

Had my surgery yesterday. Turns out my pain wasn't from my sutures, but that I had a hernia. So I guess it was a good thing I had it done. Now I can finally get going in the right direction healing wise.

Picked up my new ride yesterday. 2015 Ford Escape. First time I've ever owned a brand new car (only 251km on it at delivery). Pretty psyched.

Played in my actual final tourney of the season. REALLY fun intermediate tourney. Two teams from our area played in the intermediate division and one in the upper division. The other team was the favorite, and they clearly excelled in their performance in the local taverns. We played better on the ice. Lost one game and missed the chipper by a point, but we won the 3rd-4th place game 3-1. I had two goals and two assists for the weekend, and haven't skated for a month.

Time for boating season.

Life is good!

We were at Lake Powell back in March--just after the kids' regular season was over and my buddy and I finished spring league. Played/swam one day at Lone Rock.

Then returned for more dropin and two adult tournaments.

Whitewater kayaking and rafting--not much snowmelt left, so we have a few good weeks remaining to hit the rivers.

..I just spent an awesome week on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. 8 days out, 6 on the river. Kayaked the big water and rafted the two mellower days.

We have an older Bayliner to get the kids out on tubes and kneeboards. My LO can link 10 360's!

Dude that boat is awesome. Is that a full-on houseboat? Or just a really fancy pontoon?

Yes, those are wheel covers. It's actually the picture from the ad. Had a much better shine to it when I picked it up.

I've been, historically, pretty easy on vehicles. Bought a '98 Neon in '99, drove that to 192,000km when I bought my truck in '06 with 102k on it...traded that for this. Truck had 234k and was starting to rust a bit. This had 251km when I drove it off the lots...so if I get it to 200,000+km It won't owe me much by then.

Getting close to my ultimate goal. Finishing up a physics class this summer, and taking the MCAT in August. My Primary Medical School applications will be submitted then as well. Getting excited, but at the same time VERY nervous.

This time next year I hope to be moving to a new city and starting school. Class of 2020 hopeful (fingers crossed!)

Very cool! My mom drives a 2012 Focus Titanium hatchback and absolutely loves it. It's a pretty nice car to drive and is great on gas.
