JR's not the only one with a funk soul around here. That man was serious. Most certainly will be missed.

As a random side note, for anyone interested (though not 100% funk), there's a great documentary out from U Iowa that aired on PBS called Copyright Criminals. Gives the history of sampling and they have some great interviews with George Clinton and others. Just returned it to netflix.
