Bauer Vapor XR3's wheels suck

I just bought a brand new pair of Bauer XR3s and my wheels started falling apart (as pictured) the first time I rolled on them. I weigh 165 pounds. What the hell?! I emailed Bauer 4 days ago, no response yet.

Did you use them outside? That'll happen when you use indoor wheels outside. If not, then nevermind :P.

A roll on concrete surface? If so it's still a one layer outdoor type of hardened surface.

Looks like the xr3's come with a 76a indoor wheel. These wheels are built to rebound and perform on softer surfaces like sport and ice court. Bets of luck either way man. Always is unfortunate when something like that happens with something brand new.

I had that same problem... Now in my case I am 225 lbs. Guessing its because they are too soft... also wonder since they are branded wheels they arent of super high quality

A guy on my team had two Bauer wheels disintegrate on him in one game two weeks ago. Not sure which model, but we play indoors on sport court.

You get what you pay for, those wheels are cheaper for a reason.

If you want quality anything dual pour from Rink Rat, Labeda & Revision are your first points of call.
