teamohiogocincyswords6111 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2017 (edited) recently went to peranis big hockey sale looking for skates and got some bauer 1x skates for a nice price! i was looking for bauer x900 skates because of my concern about the Injected Stability Lacing System they were not in my size. I am concerned about the Injected Stability Lacing System on the skates it seems it can crack very easily. has anyone been impressed by this system? is it durable? is their any thing i can do rather than shot blockers to make sure they system doesnt break? dkmiller3356 961 Report post Posted July 25, 2017 One of my friends who has the 1x had his break twice. There have been some durability concerns but it is far from universal.
JR Boucicaut 3666 Report post Posted July 25, 2017 The breakage apparently has been pretty isolated to the 1X skate. It's far less on the 1S and 1N - if I remember correctly, the fact that they painted it was the issue.
215BroadStBullies610 409 Report post Posted July 25, 2017 Interesting. I've only had mine since late April 2017 and haven't had any issues...yet.
