Remove Adhesive from PU Leather

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of gloves that had advertising stickers on the top of the backhand (PU leather). I removed the stickers, but there is still a bunch of residual adhesive left on the leather. Anyone have a good way to remove this without damaging the glove obviously?

Goo gone will probably be fine.  That stuff is so ridiculously good at doing this exact thing it just blows my mind. I highly doubt it will damage anything on the glove itself but to be safe use as little as necessary.

Actually goo gone says NOT to use on leather. I actually fought fire with fire; used packing tape and after a bit of a battle it’s all off.

True but being PU leather on the glove part in question I think it'd give you some leeway as opposed to straight up natural leather.  Rubbing alcohol is usually effective as well.  But definitely would go easy using anything to avoid any real trouble.
