True Hockey stick codes

Recommended Posts

Im looking to get some True Pro stocks at my LHS, and they all have different codes.

Anyone able to tell me what they mean?

All sticks are Marners and between 70 and 85 flex.

It most likely is a reference to his specs. As far as i know, True doesn't dress up sticks, so if it's painted as a 6.0, thats what it is. The build code would reference his specs as far as flex, grip, pattern, shaft shape, height and blade stiffness.

But it's highly unlikely you'll get that info divulged by True

Unless they are True athletes then ya, what you see is what you get. Every xcore stick for True guys like Marner don't have the gimmicked blade, but all the sample ones they made for players do.

are the three dif codes I saw. One is a XC9 the other 2 6.0s

The only I know (or pretend I know) is the last number is the flex rating. I can't remember if 1 is 70 or 75, but each number is 5 flex points higher than the previous.
