Ironlace Unbreakable Hockey Laces

The point is, they're  touting tensile strength, which is not why laces break. they break because they get cut and frayed, which these will inevitably do no matter how cut resistant they claim to be. Imagine the lace bite and discomfort from laces that do not stretch or give in any way.

I got sent these to try and test to give them feedback...

 

Like people mentioned here, lace bite was TERRIBLE. I couldn't get them tight enough to actually make my skates feel "snug" until I cranked them and then I had to get off the ice for the shift because lace bite was so bad. I relayed this to them but got no response. That was with the unwaxed as I usually don't use waxed laces. I never bothered to try and use the waxed.

That was my main concern that without any elasticity the laces might cause lace bite or uneven pressure.
