  1. Ball Dek Street Hockey Programs In the Spring of 2018 a new group came in and took over the hockey rink. The rink is now called THE CAGE Roller Hockey Rink. They put in a lot of money and a lot of work and redid the entire rink and created all new programs. The rink has new boards, new floor, new score board and more. In only six months they already have over 50 youth and adult roller hockey and ball hockey teams playing seven days a week. They play the Ball Dek Street Hockey games every week. Great group of people and players. You can get more info from their sites. Website - www.CageHockey.com FaceBook - The Cage Roller Hockey Rink
  2. Okay so I'm 20 years old and used to play middle linebacker in football for 16 years and was fortunate enough to to get a scholarship to a D1 school. Well do to the fact I hated the school and really didn't like football I left the university. Hockey has always been my favorite sport also when my old buddy asked if I wanted to join his adult rec begginer league I said HELL YEAH. I have a month and a half to get ready for season it's nothing to seriouse but my question is.. what position should I play? The manager of the team wants to put me at Center and just be a power forward and kinda bully and get in the head of the other Team. (Kessler from the ducks) I'm 6'1 (off skates) and 225 of pure muscle (once again I was a D1 athelete) I understand ice hockey is a whole different beast than football but my skating is a little below average as of now I can go forward. Stop, and change direction. It's techniqually a "non-check" league but I was told as long as I don't line someone up in open ice and take him out of the game most hits are ok especially along the boards fighting for the puck. Any advice or drills for me? Is a very big and physical Center viable? I need to learn to pass and take better shots I havnt had stick time in a while but I just made the decision to sign up today. And where should I get my gear. I wanna do this right so any advice would be much appreciated! Once again the division I'll be playin in is for adult beginners ONLY some can barley stand in their skates. Any advice on my position or anything else on how to improve my skills would be very helpful thanks!

    Stick Flex

I was curious if anyone uses intermediate sticks. I've been using a senior 85 flex stick but found that it hasn't been efficient so I decided to make a switch. I went out and bought an Easton Stealth 65 flex. I felt an immediate difference and like it much better. Is it a good fit for my size? I'm 5' 8" and 150 lbs.
  4. I play roller hockey in the spring for fun after ice hockey is over. And I was wondering if the tiles wear down a stick's blade? It may sound stupid but I don't use my normal stick and I want to start and help would be great! (blade is usually fully taped. Or far heel is left untaped)

    Easton Mako Pants

I cant seem to find any reviews on the Easton Mako Pants. Anyone wearing these or know anything about them? Are they worth it? Thanks!
  6. So pretty soon I will most likely be getting the LE one.9 skate and converting it to roller. Any tips on making sure they're centered and important things to emphasis while doing it? also should i bake before or after the conversion?
  7. I am returning to hockey after a long layoff. Last I skated, there was no aggressive pitch. Additionally, I need a flat pitch to keep the dynamic forces of movement out of my knee, and inside the muscles. Which skates have the least aggressive pitch? I am interested in Reebok (whichever)K, Bauer, and CCM RBZ. I am thinking that the Nexus line will have the least aggressive pitch out of anything on the market, and thus they are the frontrunner, just curious if anyone here has any thoughts.
