Might be the most disgusting Habs game I've ever seen, man that was ugly.

Halak is riding a really good stretch of about 10 games. He has currently is and has been the better goalie throughout the season for the most part but even Price has some very good 4-5-6 game stretches where he looked like the #1 guy. Why make a quick decision now when Price's value is low? at least wait until the offseason.

I was happy to see Bob go, but Gauthier is a suspect choice at best. Questionable track record and has been removed from being a gm for a long time. Can't believe they didn't make it interim and interview other candidates in the summer. I'm also worried that Price will be traded which would be a terrible move. His potential is way greater then his trade value which makes trading him pointless. He's also an RFA who will get 2.5-3M at the very most, same price for Halak. He's also only 22 and years away from his prime, why move him until he asks for it or Halak completely runs away with the #1 job.

That lineup is ok but I'd still rather call up a Bulldog with at least some top six potential. And Laraque has no reason to be in the lineup at all. Against the Caps? he's going to look pretty funny. Radio what Bulldog should be called up? Trotter, Sergei, Desharnais? etc

Moen on the first line? Is Carbo still in charge? I wish they'd call up Sergei or Desharnais or someone to get a chance in the top six.

1 regulation win 25 games? Can you honestly say the organization has improved under Gainey? I can't see the Habs being anything more then a first round playoff team for at least the next few years.

Its time for Bob Gainey to go. Everyone compared not signing Kovalev to the signs of Gionta and Cammalerri, what they should have done is signed all 3 and not traded for Gomez. That contract isn't going to get any better and with the left over money they could have signed a good center like Antropov for 4M. Even with that 4M you'd still have another 3-4 to sign another good defensemen. The signings of Gill and Spacek look terrible and I'm still not convinced that Moen is that much of an upgrade over Kostoupolos. Before the season everyone said this would be a team with no secondary scoring and suspect defense, well look what is Bob, just that. I don't care that Markov is out, yes he is the Habs best player, but when your given almost unlimited amounts to remake a team top to bottom and this is what you do, its time for a new GM, imo.

The fans are idiots and boo every ex player and who ever the best player on the other team is.
