Super-stoked for the trade! Pens finally get the top-six winger they've been seeking, DP get's out of the black hole that is Edmonton. Some additional details - Pens included F Rob Klinkhammer in addition to 1st round pick. Perron will wear #39 - the number he wore in Lewiston. Arrives in the 'burgh late tonight, should play against the Habs tomorrow.

To be clear, should there be really any difference in boot fit? My impression has been they're identical in design with differences in materials used.
There is often variances in between models within the same product line, don't assume they will all fit the same. And Easton likely hasn't updated their web page yet with all of their 2014 offerings (neither has Bauer, CCM, etc.)

I just got my rbz shoulder pads and even knowing the stats and numbers, their lightness is really surprising.
I've scoured the internet since their release date was confirmed, and I'm still a little nervous about their durability. I know the CLs help up nice for people, and I know everyone's main point is "Well if they're good enough for vast numbers of NHL'ers, they're good enough for us", but NHL players can afford to constantly replace equipment if they want.
Anyone have any first hand, long term experience with the CLs?
Unless you are doing some thing really unique with your shoulder pads, they should last you a really long time. Shoulder pads recieve less wear and tear than arguably any other gear. Look at all the NHL guys that are still playing in ancient shouldies from their junior days.

The merlot practice jersey may be the best pickup. I would deeply disinfect that laundry bag, especially since it appears you have young children nearby. ;)

Nice mitts and Nexus. Probably the only Bauer stick I'd want to have. Do your CL shins happen to making rattling noise in the knee cap when you shake them? Seems to be a reoccurring event with these shins, personally I'm a little chocked, hopefully mine will be replaced under warranty.
I haven't noticed that yet, but I did see the thread about that just recently. Kind of a bummer, hopefully they get you taken care of! They seem to be great pads.

You got them from Peranis, right? I'm tempted to pick up a pair in Meryhurst colors.
I've been drooling over the North Dakota ones in the Pittsburgh store, they'd match our unis perfectly.

Scored a brand new Medium Re-Akt Cage (160g) on ebay for $47 shipped. Paired it with my Medium S19 and total weight is 472g... Gave my old 9900 medium cage (224g) to my son and he pairs it with a Small 11k and the weight of the combo is 704g. This is possibly the lightest cage/helmet combo money can buy...
Coldclay, are the bars on the Reakt thicker than the 9900? I was under the assumption that they would be the same style, only Ti

^^ Nice! I almost pulled the trigger on a Roenick #27 the other week, but decided I should pay some bills instead.
