I purchased some Edge holders with LS3 steel in them from a Bauer dealer in Australia and had them fitted to my Nexus 1000's, the runners have been slightly loose in the holders from day one, I've been skating on them for a few months and they haven't seemed to get any worse.

Just wondering as a nexus skate user what's the benefit of the eyelet extension? As well how do find the heel lifts? I was thinking about adding some to mine for a little more pitch.

The eyelet extensions have enabled me to get more forward flex in my ankle while still maintaining lateral stability, previously the only way I could get sufficient forward flex and knee bend was to lace the top of the skate loosly or skip the top eyelet, both of these options resulted in not enough stability.

As for the 3mm heel lift, It didn't feel as different as I was expecting, I was able to adjust quite quickly, the skates now feel nicer on forward crossovers and it has improved my skating slightly in this area, if you feel like your weight is on your heels a bit too much at times I'd reccomend the heel lifts, otherwise they probably aren't necessary.

A is standard

AA is narrower

B is wide

Vapor skates are a true last, so a retail D is a true D.

Retail Vapor is DA and EEB

Retail Supreme D is E/A and EE is EEE/B

Retail Nexus D is EE/A and EE is EEEE/B

Is it correct that a Supreme EE is a true EEE and a Nexus EE is a true EEEE?

when I tried on a retail EE in both the Nexus and Supreme the Supreme felt slightly wider in the forefoot area.

If I want customs to fit like a retail Nexus EE but with a narower heel I would want EEEE/A is this correct?

Also, I need to move the top 3 eyelets out about 1/4" on the inside (medial) side of the skate as my ankle bones are too close to the eyelets and also need to move the top 3 eyelets in on the outside (lateral) side of the skate. What is the correct way to state this on the order form? increase/decrease lacing? add/remove material? move eyelets in/out etc? how would I get this across clearly?
