Haha.  A lot of people have the reaction but the cuff design (like everything else on our gear) is very purposeful. This specific design for our glove is meant as more of a baseball style catcher.  The typical user holders their fingers up so wrist flexibility is key.  Thus the large cut out.  You'll notice we even oriented the logo on the cuff to appear right side up when holding glove fingers-up!

My new Passau chestie is here . . . and it's pretty awesome, but I have to admit I really have no idea how to get it properly adjusted. There are a lot more adjustments than my old one. I need help adjusting the neck height - is it by putting the velcro on the back higher or lower, or by changing the shoulder attachment? I also need to get the floaters squared away - I like them to fit close to the top of the shoulder but they seem to stick way up no matter which buckles I use.The arms seem to fit pretty well length-wise, but I need to move the elbow cups up a bit (which I know how to do).
